“So glad to have this location! Smaller than the newer Giant Eagle stores, this legacy location is easy to get in and out of. Not surrounded by heavy traffic. I go to Brunswick or North Royalton if I need certain items this store doesn't carry, but for the basics it's so nice to be able to pick them up quickly and hassle free.“

“This place is the best! Their staff is quick and friendly. The pastries are to die for, so is the breakfast sandwich! You can only get the sandwich until 11 on weekdays and 12 on weekends. The danishes and brownies are my favorite. The good pastries are always sold out by the afternoon so go early! I love love love their seasonal drinks! Love this place!!!“

“My cookies initially we're lacking the strawberry topping. I asked if they could be touched up some and the employee was so nice about it! I told her it's the best part and she agreed. I really appreciated her kindness. The cookies were perfect and absolutely delicious.“

When other bakers were hesitant to meet my expectations, West Side Bakery eagerly accepted. Each time, the look and the TASTE exceeded my VERY HIGH, TYPE A expectations!!!! The latest was my request for Rose’s door… you know, the broken piece from the movie Titanic. My son is OBSESSED with that ship and the wreckage and requested a Titanic themed 7th birthday party. I have had their raspberry, apple and nut filled cookies... Buttery, fresh and mouth watering gooood! I have also tried their cream and custard filled paczki's, yummy! Mom enjoyed the lemon filled paczki and was impressed w/ the real lemon taste. She also tried the raspberry filled and was not disappointed. Finally, for Easter, they had paint your own cookies for $8.99. You had a choice of either an egg or bunny. I admit that I went overboard and bought A Lot of them for gifts. “Two weeks ago I had bought a few packs of the blueberry muffins which turned out to be stale and moldy, I wrote a review expressing my experience and as soon as I posted it, I received an email from the company within 30 minutes of my post explaining that the muffins are baked fresh and then frozen to retain the freshness. Turns out the supermarket had them on their shelf for too long and I just happened to buy them just before they got bad. The company actually reimbursed me for the loss and I must say that their customer service is great, I'm impressed, good job. Natalie“
