“We came to El Trumpo last minute with a party of 18 people for a birthday celebration, and they absolutely nailed it. From the moment we walked in, the staff our server was Jenny, everyone was welcoming, organized, and genuinely happy to accommodate our large group without prior notice — not an easy task, but they made it look effortless. The service was fast, friendly, and incredibly attentive. Our server managed to keep everything straight — drinks, appetizers, mains — and checked in regularly without ever making us feel rushed. That alone deserves praise. Now the food: amazing. Everything from the chips and salsa to the sizzling fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, and margaritas was flavorful and fresh. Several people at our table commented that it was the best Mexican food they’ve had in a long time. The portions were generous and the presentation was great, even with such a large group. Bonus points for the festive atmosphere — perfect for a birthday party. They even brought out a birthday dessert and joined in singing, which made the night extra special. Can’t recommend this place enough for both small dinners and big celebrations. Well definitely be returning!”

“This classic dairy stand offers great ice cream treats. It is a great place to go on a hot night for all sorts of tasty creations, and the staff provide great service. There are plenty of tables to sit and eat at. The downsides are how close it sits to Hamilton Avenue and its sometimes heavy traffic, that they only take cash, and the lack of restrooms.”
