“We had a birthday party here with about 30 people. Kim was so helpful and kind with the planning process. On the actually night, all our guests had delicious meals with fast service. Our waitresses were efficient and friendly the whole time. All the food is amazing. I've never had a bad meal here. This has become one of my favorite places to eat downtown. “Visiting our daughter who attends the University of Toledo ; this spot is directly across Secor Road, where we usually stay at a hotel. We had a blast ! The staff is friendly, and the drinks were great. We did not have any food, so no comments on that. Friday night guitar music was nice and we went back Saturday to watch tOSU football and bonus SINGO (musical bingo) event. It was fun! Same friendly staff, casual atmosphere… will definitely make this a regular visit when in Toledo!“

Shelly and Adrienne served great drinks all evening. Everyone commented on what a great time they had. Don’t hesitate to book Shelly’s for your next event!“

“Barr's is a nice place but service can be hit or miss. During prime hours you may need to park at the hotel next door when they run out of spots. The food is upscale bar/pub style and made with care, just about everything on the menu is great. They have a nice happy hour selection and the cocktails are well made. Don't overlook stopping in for a quick lunch. Its a very small space and there are often events/corporate gatherings in the side room so it can get packed in a hurry. I suggest going before 5 or after the dinner rush. They take reservations but you still may end up waiting as people tend to linger at their tables so dont go expecting to fit in a specific timeline.“
