“Rotary Clubs in Sandusky, Huron, and Vermilion are grateful to the House of Donuts for baking Purple Donuts on Friday, World Polio Day, October 24fh.
These custom Donuts were picked up by generous donors and delivered to offices, Senior Homes, Car Dealerships, Medical Offices, Students, and local homes.
The proceeds went to End Polio Now. The purple donuts represent children’s purple pinkies which are painted the day they get their vaccinations. These purple pinkies prevent a child from being vaccinated twice. This crippling disease has been eradicated
in all countries except Afghanistan and Pakistan. 20 million children now. walk without crutches. 30. Billion have been vaccinated since Rotary International, the UN, wHO, and Medical Organizations have traveled together to give life saving vaccinations. Polio is 99.9 per cent eradicated.
Thanks to purple donuts and many fundraisers around the world Friday., World Polio Day and a match of 2-1 for every dollar donated …we are so close.
Thank you for the delicious donuts. And loved the second batch as well with Puroke Sprinkles added.“

“The staff is very friendly and gives great customer service. They treat you like family and will always go the extra mile to make sure your order is correct. I won't go to another location. Pretty locations need to take notes from the staff here.“

“Very charming 50's diner, seems to be all original, not a remake. A true survivor of the times.
The staff is very nice, and the owner is pouring her heart and soul into the place to keep it going despite staffing challenges and long hours.
The food was very good, and very inexpensive. We had breakfast, lunch, and donuts, everything was great.
We were traveling from out of town but we will be back.“
