Steven greeted us asking if we were celebrating anything and it just so happened we were there for our twins birthday. He immediately handed them each an arcade card. So sweet! The food was quick, hot and delicious! We will definitely be back again next time we come to kalahari!“

“I've eaten there more than a few times and tonight, the change in bar staff really showed. I planned on ordering my favorite pizza in town- the Cubano, which has always been good with the mustard taste at the top and i ordered desert to go and sporadically added an app. All my bad there for bothering this poor soul behind the bar, asking why this pizza was covered in mayo, i guess they added more "honey mustard aioli" and shoved it back at me but it's going no where but the trash, so I paid, tipped, and as I left this poor man mutters "i wish I wasn't here" I get about 3 dinners a year, if that, alone without my kids and I'll go where your old bartender is next time, or anywhere that will fix their mistake and not shrug at me. I'm not here for Bike Week 🤷‍♀️ You re only as strong as your local supporters and I'm so sad my favorite pizza is just mayo now. He said they added more the cold sauce, what? Just what I needed, more sauce. I already asked once, he was clearly done with his night and honestly I can just take my money somewhere else, it doesn't matter. I know.“

“We came in at 8:30 PM after leaving the mall. It was pretty quiet and we were quickly shown to a nice booth.

Quite a few things on the menu excited me. I had to have takoyaki, and I'd been reading about Korean noodles so I figured I'd have those. I ordered mine with chicken for an extra $2. My husband is a kung po nut, so he got kung po and added beef for $2.50. I ordered hot tea and my husband got a regular coke (coke products.)

My tea arrived and a few minutes later the takoyaki came. They were six beautiful crispy balls of delicious creamy batter with a little nugget of tender octopus in the center. They were drizzled in mayonnaise and eel sauce, and topped with bonito flakes and thin nori strips. They were absolutely fantastic.

When our meals came you could actually *smell* the kiss of the wok. I tasted a bit of kung po, and I have to say it was refreshingly savory. For once the kung po was not smothered in a cloyingly sweet brown sauce, instead the sauce was balanced and subtle. For me at least it was superior to any other local kung po l've tasted. It had a nice balance of spiciness because they'd actually bloomed red chilis in their starting oil. One minor quibble would be that it was missing crunch. A handful of peanuts would have added nice contrast.

My Korean noodles were not what I expected: the thicker wheat noodles, meat, and veggies in the rich, sweet, deep brown sauce. Instead they were ramen noodles in a light, savory, creamy sauce that really complimented rhe bean sprouts, chicken, bok choi, and Chinese scallions. It was unexpected, but I could have licked the plate clean. I could have added some of the chili condiment or soy sauce also on the table, but why mess with perfection?

Perfection. The wait staff were the embodiment of professional and attended to us quickly and effortlessly. They answered my request for an extra napkin in seconds -- a takoyaki dumpling jumped off of my chopsticks. I swear it did! 🤣

We settled our bill and tipped well. We left well-satisfied with the service, the food, and the cost, just as a crowd came in!

Next time I want to try their pad Thaï. I'll get around to ramen eventually. Oh, and I think they've changed their name. The location is the same! 🙂“

“Perfect spot for a good breakfast waitstaff especially Dalton and Jennifer are very personable and make it like having breakfast with family my wife loves that she can get crisp bacon and I think the coffee is great I generally get their big breakfast this last time I got a chef skillet it did not disappoint they serve all breakfast and lunch options from the time they open next time for breakfast I want to try the double cheeseburger“

“My family and I dined at Casa Real in Sandusky, OH. yesterday July 12, 2025. Overall it was a great experience. I only took one star on the overall rating because seating was cramped, but then again I am 6'5" so I guess that makes a difference. However what make my experience exceptional was the service. Our waitress name was Dianna. Wow, she is awesome. She took care of us better than any waitress that I have had probably ever, and that is saying something because I've been around for a wh ile and love to eat out. She kept our drinks full and everytime we needed something she was there and got it for us quickly and didn't forget anything. And believe me, they were super busy, but our family needs were met very very quickly and always with a smile. Dianna, I hope you and your boss can read this, I want to thank you for such a great experience. You have a new customer at least as long as you work there.“
