The Cardinal Scoop is a fantastic local ice cream shop known for its delicious options. They serve Hershey brand hard ice cream and soft serve, with outdoor seating available. The owner is a wonderful person, and the staff is very friendly and polite. Customers recommend trying the mint chocolate chip milkshake and getting a pup cup for dogs. Many enjoy getting 2 scoops in a waffle cone and sitting on the swings at the nearby boat launch. The shop also offers a non-dairy option for those seeking vegetarian choices. It is clean, has a great selection of flavors, and boasts fair prices. Visitors appreciate the variety and the welcoming atmosphere, making it a must-visit spot when driving along Lake Road.
