“My husband and I Stopped in randomly after driving past on a Saturday afternoon. We loved it. Sat at the bar. Talked to one of the owners who served up a fantastic cranberry orange margarita! Cozy atmosphere. We shared the breakfast burger with the most perfectly fried hash browns and a side of the Brussel sprouts! No complaints. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend!“

Coming from the pickiest eater and someone who’s quite difficult to impress; this place is PHENOMENAL. If you enjoy Indian cuisine or want to try, go check this place out! It’s FANTASTIC and their lunch buffet is only $13! Honestly shocked at how incredible my experience was. “Burntwood has always been my go-to for a nice evening out. The food and service has been consistently good. My only issue was that we had a 7:00 reservation and we were not able to be seated until 7:15. There really wasn't any place to sit and wait, so we had to stand awkwardly by the bar until our table was ready.“

“The place was very cool and the drinks were excellent. But the bartender watched us walk in and left. He went into the small kitchen and started doing dishes for 5 or 10 minutes before coming back to the bar to serve us a drink. Very odd to just leave people allowed in the bar like that. But he was friendly and made a great drink. Also we were the only ones there so bartender leaving didn't make any sense.“

The bartender was friendly enough and the drink selections sounded surprisingly complex and sophisticated. I tried a couple and they were both quite good. A far more high end cocktail stop than what we expected. We didn't get a chance to try out their food offerings. Next time.“

“The meal with Mama Laura and server Tae was an incredible experience. You often hear of the chefs coming to the table talking with the patrons, Mama Laura was very personable and engaging. Server Tae instantly earned a generous tip by attending to us within minutes of us being seated. He showed genuine concern for our dining and spirits needs. “I had never been to Black Forest before - no reason, just hadn't. But when they placed 3rd in the Best Burger contest last week, I had to check it out. Met the mighty Francis McGarry for a sales meeting and dinner. They were NOT lying about the burger - FANtastic. Staff were friendly and the owner stopped by and chatted. Bingo in the next room had the place packed, but it wasn't loud - they just sounded like they were having a blast. I Highly Recommend Black Forest for great food, and great people. “Went there tonight for dinner. I’m in town visiting a friend but found myself on my own this evening, saw this place on my map, and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint! The friendly staff, the ambiance, the food, and the general vibe were great. They’re clearly well liked in the area because a lot of people were there and seemed to know the staff well! I had a simple dinner of wings and fries and they were delicious. The waitress/bartender (I forgot to catch her name) made sure I was doing okay every chance she got, no matter how much other stuff was going on. If I’m in the area again, I’d definitely come back!“

My only regret is that we live 10 hours away so going back and sampling all the other menu choices is problematic. Highly recommend!“
