“Haven't been in a Mexican restaurant like this since we lived in CA. The food and service was fantastic. Liked it so much we bought T-shirts. The only suggestion would be to refresh the Margherita offering on the menu. However, we learned they will make off the menu.“

“Best Mexican around, a little pricey but worth it. The ground beef is actually seasoned & has a lot of flavor, unlike every other Mexican restaurant. They have great guacamole but it is like $12, so it's VERY expensive. That being said, it tastes great, but it's way cheaper to make the same thing at home.They barely put any cheese on their tacos. I always order extra cheese on them & I still can barely find any cheese on them. Thankfully I always order cheese dip, so I end up having to use that on my tacos. Kind of annoying.Update: I took a star away because their take-out/online ordering service needs some serious work. I ordered two tacos for myself & only received one. I mostly wanted to just eat chips with salsa, guacamole & cheese dip (I even ordered a large cheese & large guac). They only gave us a TINY bag of chips, smaller than any other Mexican restaurant would give. Why couldn't they give us a normal size bag? Needless to say, I ate one taco & a handful of chips & was still left hungry. :(“

“This little Mexican restaurant is a gem! The food is absolutely amazing! It's close to the Akron zoo, and you should not miss out on this if you love Mexican yummies. Prices are totally reasonable, and they have skinny margaritas! Definetly recommend, hands down.“

“Food is quite delicious and the oysters the one's I consumed were fresh. Service is ok. Maybe a bit more friendly. I'm not a regular though. Ambiance is a bit distracting and different music can be a bit loud. I've only been there a few times. However I do continue to go back. Check it out for yourself. I would say it's worth it.“

“We ordered a salad topped with salmon, French Onion Soup and the sirloin and mashed potatoes. The salad was crisp and fresh, and the salmon served medium as ordered. It was very good. The French onion soup was excellent with plenty of onions in a tasty broth. The sirloin was cooked medium as ordered. It tasted great but was a bit tough to chew. Service was very good - friendly and efficient.“

“Food and vibes at The River Merchant were so good! Probably the best Caesar salad I've ever had, and the added blackened chicken was perfect. Our server Lorelei was great, and suggested leaving our beer cheese behind from the pretzel app for our fries which was such a clutch suggestion. The salmon croquettes were also delicious. Lots of wins at this restaurant, definitely would recommend.“

“Bar Lucci is the newest bar in Kent and honestly one of the best! They have live music all the time, ping pong, cheap AND amazing drinks, and a GREAT patio! If you plan on traveling to Kent and never been before, make sure to add Bar Lucci to your list of places you can’t miss!“

“Franks is the typical hole in the wall and those of you that have read my reviews know I love these places. The service is good at Franks and the bartenders are friendly and can carry a conversation. Atmosphere is very eclectic - see my pictures. The food specials are a deal so make sure to check those out. I had the cowboy burger on this visit but have also had the NY strip which is good. The cowboy burger is sautéd onions, cheddar, bacon and candied jalapeños. Handmade burger and very tasty. Only complaint is the burger was thick but not wide enough to cover the bun. Give Franks a try“

“Baxter and his team have created the coolest Speakeasy in Akron!! Reminds me of the cool spaces I frequented while living in the Chicagoland area. I've shared a few pics before opening hours. “Kurt welcomed me in and was patient with me for knowing nothing about good whiskey or cocktails. He could have gotten impatient as it was busy, but he took his time to help me find what I wanted and taught me what to look for. “Gelato” mixed drink was a highlight.“

“Typical visit for me: walk in, sit at an open booth, check the current (and ever-changing) menu, order a selection that I may not have ever tried before, get on the phone to Lucci's Place next door and order a pizza, walk next door to pick it up, order another selection, enjoy myself.The guys and girls that work there are great--very service-oriented and very knowledgeable.They have been working on a renovation for a few months and it's all very secret! So much to choose from!!!Also if you are worried they aren’t going to give you as much food compared to dining in… don’t worry they load you up!!I got their seafood burrito and it was HUGE! “Never had a bad thing from Chuggers. The only downside, on some nights service can be rough, but that's expected. And some of the pool league people are douchebags, in my experience. That's my biggest issue with "atmosphere". But during sporting events everyone is amazing!“

“I had the fish and it didn't taste that great. Everyone else liked there meal especially the lasagna. This house salad dressing was the bomb and the apps where great to. Menu said the onion rings where beer batter but the where breaded. We prefer beer batter. Over all I would say it was almost a 5 star. “We took a day trip to Akron for a festival and stopped into this bar while exploring the town. This bar was huge, clean, and beautiful! Our bartender was so sweet and answered all our questions! “If there are any problems with Bartenders or an employee get ahold of Chuck Korver owner. Any concerns you have, safety and or liabilities talk to Chuck and give him a chance to handle it. Any problems with other customers call Chuck about it. He will deal with it. Read reviews where someone was using Laundromat next door. Then went to leave. But Couldnt bc blocked in. Again call Chuck so he can take care of it and the customers violating fire code. Customers that bring there drinks out the bar outside Call Chuck. He will make sure customers are compliant. Chuck doesn't put up with bologna.“

“Relaxing cocktail bar with dim lighting, unique furniture, indoor and patio accommodations. Kitchen food is limited but good. The stars of the show are the strong, unique cocktails. The Lavender Bees Knees is a must have every time I go there, but the drink menu does change. I go to this business frequently. The only reason not 5 stars is the service. I've had too many negative service interactions to give 5 stars. Even so, I still recommend this business to everyone I know who enjoys a stiff drink. Call ahead because this place is usually very busy.“

“I love this place. Great food, great friends, great prices. But they have a bartender named rosie who is absolutely rude to the point where you just feel sad for her. She's off at 5 mon-fri. If you enjoy watching a miserable person treat customers poorly and get joy out of it, rosie is your girl. Also don't bother coming here for food when she's here. She said she avoids making food hoping you get drunk and forget about the food. You're better off coming later when one of the nicer bartenders are here.“

“We were in town for a concert and decided to stop by Ray's for a late lunch/early dinner. Ray's is a super casual townie bar. Service was quick and friendly. They offer a good variety of local beer options as well as old standards. My husband ordered the cheeseburger and onions rings. They were great, he said the burger tasted fresh off the bbq! I ordered the poutine fries - the serving is more than enough to share with a group and oh was it good. The meat was smoky and delicious and the fries were crisp- so good. We would definitely recommend Ray's and return if we're in town!“
