“I got the Perfect Balance bowl with lamb and chose the yellow lentil to top the rice. It was delicious, a perfect combination! The lamb meatballs have great seasoning that makes it so appetizing. The yellow lentil was perfectly seasoned too! The service was excellent! The cashier was helpful and nice. His name is Justin. It was my first time at Choolaah and he patiently explained how to order. He even let me sample some lentils so I can choose well what I want The restaurant was cozy, clean, and nice. I like the fresh flowers in vases on the table. They added a vibrant color to the dining area!“
“Top Indian restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of having, I’ve tried dozens of Indian restaurants in my life and this is up there to compare to. I had the butter chicken and Chana masala and it was so full of flavor. The butter chicken was so creamy and addictive I can drink the sauce and the chicken was so tender. Most places can’t cook their chicken breast correctly when they add it to their sauce but wow this was just easy to cut through with a spoon and just paired perfectly with the savoriness of the butter chicken. The Chana masala was flavor packed and I just can’t get enough, I legit ate myself into a coma. 10/10 must try like right now, go!“

“This review is woefully overdue - the food here is fantastic! I've been eating here for over a year, and this little resto is a flavor bomb in a rather bland and boring area. Momos, chicken curry, jalfrezi, butter chicken that you can actually taste the spices and tomato with little bursts of whole spices hidden inside that pops on your palate. The best, and most overlooked part of the meal (especially an Asian one) is the rice. I've never seen basmati rice treated with such care like they do here - the individual grains are perfectly cooked, glossy, retained their texture, fragrantly perfumed with whole spices, and you can taste each component of the rice. The veggie fried rice is just extra yummy - nice al dente veggies with sweet spring onions, and a hint of smokiness from the stir fry. Service can be a bit slow, but totally worth it. Just let the cooks do their thing and you'll be rewarded with deliciousness. So many good dishes here! Keep up the great work Cafe Everest crew! <3 <3 <3 uwu“
“I dont want to tell you how good this place is for the chance I won't get a seat. Sunday buffet is the way to go. Plenty of vegetarian options done well. The place is a rougher part of town, but it's safe. The building could use some TLC but that is small concern over the quality of food here.Vegetarian options: Tons of options and they are done very well.“
“Food was very good. Only 6 hot dishes on buffet but each one was great. I believe buffet was $14 each so I thought it was a little much for what you got. When we got there only one person in restaurant 11:30am. Smelled great. Waiter or owner was sitting at a table watching his phone. He yelled to us to sit anywhere and yelled what did we want to drink. We went and got our buffet and we were about a quarter done when he finally brought our drinks. His show must have been over. Very poor service. Gave us a refill as we were ready to leave and we had to wait for our check for over 15 minutes! So I then used the restroom What a mistake. If I would have used the restroom first I would not have eaten here. It was terrible. We will not be going back ever though the food was good. Lack of service when a show is more important and lack of cleaning.“
