“Not a traditional restaurant, basically a storefront, so with that being said, the takeout is delicious and I highly recommend. Store hours are limited because the owner does a lot of catering during the week at local businesses. I can’t speak for the authenticity but I discovered them 4 or 5 years ago (at a catered event) and have been buying their takeout from the store since. This is my favorite Indian spot in the Cleveland area. Prices are higher but you get several servings from one container and the taste is amazing and worth it! The chicken chettinad and pepper chicken are my favorite, delish and spicy! Can’t go wrong with the biryani either.“

“Amba is cuisine excellence! If you like well executed and delicious food this is the spot. The savory dishes were complex and well spiced and the sweet dishes had a perfect mix of tartness. The menu is deep and is well crafted and you can’t go wrong with most things. We had the Puris, beet raita, clay bread, paneer, and eggplant and everything was delicious. “Went there with friends and atmosphere was not noisy, great conversations could be had. Clean restaurant and service was efficient. Our waitress Archana, was pleasant and patient taking all or orders with all our individual needs. Food was plenty and delicious and our glasses were filled. “I travel frequently and always search out Indian cuisine. I stumbled across this little place quite by accident, the small parking lot was full so I figured the local people knew something. That’s a serious understatement, this place stands toe to toe with any Indian Restaurant I’ve ever been in, and I frequent Indian Restaurants all over. My work takes me to different areas, so I think I have experience with different cuisines. This place is a real treasure, if I lived closer, I would be a regular. I encouraged the owner to open a branch in my small university town, but he’s got a jewel of a restaurant right here. Take my word for it, hands down one of the best dining experiences anywhere!“
“Place looks like a hole in the wall but it has elegant interior design once you step inside.Food was tasty. Not a super big menu but they have Indian, Nepali dishes to try. When we were there at 5:30pm on a Saturday, they ran out of a few items already that we planned to order, which was a shame. Note that the server does not ask you for spice level preference, nor does the menu include a "heat indicator" so we accidentally got something very spicy.Service can definitely be improved. It looks like a family business and I want to support small businesses. However, servers definitely need more training because they were not very attentive. Our water was empty, empty appetizer dishes piled up, long wait for food etc. and they didn't seem to notice.“
“I've been coming here regularly for about a year so I was surprised to see that I hadn't given my favorite restaurant in Lakewood a review yet. There are good options in town for good Indian food but in my opinion Vintage India is by far and away the best.The atmosphere is somewhat bare, but cozy. The staff are great. The food is fantastic as previously mentioned and reasonably priced as well considering the amount of food you get with an entree.I've sampled a few different things, the butter chicken is very good, Tandoori Chicken is great but at some point I found myself only ordering the Chicken Tikka Masala every time I go. Fantastic dish, full of flavor and spiced to your preference.A disclaimer for anyone adverse to spicy food, order your spice level fairly low. For myself I am a lover of all things spicy so I tend to go for a 9 or 10/10 on the spice level.Finally, the Naan is fantastic. Garlic Naan, bullet Naan, you really can't go wrong.
