“Pretty amazing vegan bacon cheeseburger this time with the freshest ingredients and beautiful presentation. The owner really cares about food and it shows! Every trip here is a huge treat with tons of options no matter what you are in the mood for and new specials every time. Probably beats out every restaurant in the area in food, which is an impossible feat for Lakewood, and a very romantic atmosphere. It's a must stop for vegans in Lakewood and it surely must be for omnivores as well.“

“I’m very much not vegan. But I’m very much local business. The super informative gal working the front was friendly, patient and answered any question. I ordered the Sausage sandwich, the thing was gigantic and super tasty. If you handed me that without telling me it was vegan I wouldn’t have batted an eye. Freshest bread at a deli in the city, hands down. I should have grabbed the spicy hummus but now there’s a reason to return!A fun and friendly shop. The free coffee was even great, no cream or anything. Very much going back.“
“Neighborhood staple. Have tried the majority of the menu, and love everything I’ve tried! My go-to breakfast spot, even when I’m with non-vegans. I find their menu to be very approachable. I do both carry out and dine in.I typically get their breakfasts, but also love their lemon bars and will usually add on an iced latte. Coffee is usually decent.“
“This review is late but i cannot forget about this wonderful place.I travelled all the way from illinois for medical reasons and found this place. It's probably one of the best vegan donuts i've had and better than all "normal" donuts i've ever had in the past. I developed a severe milk allergy and craved for the longest time to eat something similar to a normal donut again.The portion sizes were not only huge, but the pricing was GREAT. The customer service was great when they were out of the select donut I wanted they offered to make more and it would be a small wait. I wish i bought more donuts from them. Sometimes I even think about travelling all the way to ohio just for these donuts, sounds funny i know. But no where in Illinois is even close to as good.“
“I’ve been to The Green Kitchen twice in its new location and truly cannot say enough good things! I had the two chick’n options as my entrees and I just loved the crispy seitan and the slaws. My girlfriend got the cheesesteak and the burger and those were excellent too. Food is flavorful, generous, and fairly priced. Definitely try the soda and dessert too! Both times we’ve eaten in, and both times it’s been pretty quiet, with fast but not rushed service. Last night, our waitress even sang to us for our anniversary!“
“I called last minute with a request for a 20 person business meeting. Not only was the food ready on time but the owner made sure I didn't over order to spend more than I had to. The portions were very healthy (enough for everyone with some people to have food take home) and everyone loved it !!! Both vegan and non vegan raved about how good the veggie wraps and grilled pepper steak rice were. Vitamin Kandie is the best.“

I do a lot of pick ups for DoorDash here so I’m just saying to myself the foods gotta be good ordered today.
