One particular staff member, a tall gentleman was very kind and asked how I liked the food, took the time to tell me my options when I was ordering, and offered to put my tray away when I was done eating. Now that’s service! Service in most places have not been satisfactory lately as the food service industry slowly picks back up from a type of recession. But the customer care and service here is above and beyond.“

My friend and I enjoyed a combination of both the cocktails and mocktails, I had the spiced nectar and blue bergamot. SO good. So different than the typical mocktail- not your typical mixer combo. But really unique recipes created with a lot of depth. Just as much to be enjoyed as the plates themselves. We had somewhere around 7-8 dishes and I came in as someone who loves Indian food expecting a typical experience and was given more than a meal, but a really fun and innovate experience. “I have eaten at different variations of vegan small business restaurants this place gives you the beyond maximum benefit when it is all set and done. My wife and I have come from the West Coast over to the East Coast a few times and the food is the best reward you will get at this restaurant. The staff are very friendly and hard-working and I would not give them a negative rating. Nobody is perfect so no one should be expecting perfection but when you have this food, it’s gonna feel close to Perfect as it will be. I wish squashed the beef all the future success, and hope everything works out for you!!
Their chili with any combination they have is chefs kiss.
And their french fries the way they got those bad boys flavored you will not need any ketchup and you will save all the flavoring you will get.

“Soho is some of the best fried chicken in Cleveland period. Both the white and dark meat are cooked to perfection. What's even more shocking is they do this with boneless breast and thighs. These pieces of chicken are boneless and still moist. That's so rare to see. The sides here are phenomenal! The mashed potatoes are a stand out for sure. They are beyond rich and decadent. They taste of just butter and are silky smooth. The mac and cheese is delightful with a wonderful Gouda flavor. The Nashville hot sandwhich is great and not overly spicy it's very pleasant. But the hush puppies are a must try they are the size of a golf ball and are so soft and moist. With this excellent dipping sauce. Nothing here is bad. The service was super fast. Food arrives very quickly. I do however recommend reservation for the weekend or a Friday. This place fills up fast. Parking can be a pain because it is all street parking and finding something nearby can be hard. But it's absolutely worth it for some of the best chicken around. Also with free biscuits how can you beat that.“

We were in Cleveland for the night, and Balance was close to where we were staying so I decided to give it a try. The girl working at the counter was AMAZING! She was so helpful and super interactive with my son, literally mirroring his excitement. I know this is something small, but I have worked in the service industry and I know how infrequent it is to get positive feedback. I’m sorry I didn’t catch the girl’s name (she was tall with long blonde hair), but she was fantastic and really made us feel welcome. The restaurant was also super clean and all the employees were working hard.“
