“I will be honest, I haven’t eaten there yet but just had the greatest experience that restored my faith in humanity just a little bit. I was in the Akron area for training with TNVC and I assume my iPad was stolen. Today it pinged at someone’s house and then it pinged in the parking lot of the Basement a few hours after I locked it and left a message for the would be thief. I called and spoke with Stephanie, and after explaining what had happened she was king enough to walk to the parking lot while I pinged it. The thief had dumped my iPad in the dumpster, thankfully not too deep. I just wanted to say that Stephanie was amazing for being such a good person and helping someone with no expectation of receiving anything in return. Next time my family and I are in the Akron/waterloo area I will make sure I patronize The Basement if only to help repay a bit of the kindness shown! This is how a neighborhood restaurant does it!“

“We went to the VIP tasting and everything was absolutely delicious!! It was so good we went back the next day on the official opening for dinner! Everything we ordered was fantastic! Shout out to Nick on the Kaluger sauce!!! Trying the Hot Pants Kaluger next time!! The atmosphere, waitresses, staff in general were super friendly! 💯 recommend!! This will easily become our go to restaurant/bar!“

“What a pleasant surprise to find this place and find they serve my favorite bourbon ( Eagle Rare) which is tough to find where I'm from. So I started with an Old Fashion then went to a double neat with a diet coke on the side. Ordered the jalapeno poppers which came quick and were amazing.
My only regret is that I got into town later tgan I wanted. I could easily become a regular here. Girls behind the bar were very attentive & pleasant. Highly reccommend if you're in the area!“

“Cassy was by far the best bartender ever! I was drinking water but she was so quick to greet us and get our drinks out. She made our visit from out of town memorable with her service and great attitude with everyone she interacted with. This will not be the last time we are here!! 5 stars for Casey! Can't wait to return!“

“Our group went to Papa Don's Pub last night before a concert at the Goodyear Theater. What a fantastic place. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The foid was very good and they easily accomodated my wheat allergy. Thanks fir adding to our wonderful evening!“

“We had a great experience at Applebee’s, and a big part of that was our waitress, Abby. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Her positive attitude and great customer service really stood out. She made our dinner enjoyable and was a pleasure to have as our server. Excellent service from Abby—we’ll definitely be back!“

“I recently found Manny's been going there now for about 3 months what a friendly little hometown bar and they have karaoke twice a week and the man that runs that is awesome so if you're looking for a little karaoke fun go down to Manny's give your name to Johan he will get you up to sing and it's almost a guaranteed good time really loving this place be back in there again this Friday night. LOL and an awesome bartender!“

“Been coming here off & on for years and wanted to try out the new All you can eat special. While the riblets were a bit dry & the boneless wings were over sauced, our server (Ernie) was amazing. It was Memorial Day so the dining room was pretty quiet. My wife & daughter got half price apps that were also spot on. Solid visit this time 'round.“
“It's a college bar. Not much more to say about that.Not to bad on weekdays. Its a nice bar to stop and have a drink after work. And maybe shoot gave a pool. Dont try to play pool though on the weekends when the college kids are in. Because they use it as a table to sit on and put drinks on and spill things on and lay down and take a nap on and puke on.“

“This is not your average Applebee’s. Every time I come in, the food, service, and atmosphere are top tier. Huge shoutout to Kelly, Noah, Jeremy, Alivia, Maddy, and Kyle, they are absolutely killer behind the bar and out on the floor. They make the place feel welcoming, fun, and well-run every single time.
The servers are attentive, the bartenders are on point, and the food comes out great. You can tell this team actually cares about the guest experience. Definitely one of the best Applebee’s locations I’ve been to. Highly recommend.“

“I would give this place more than five stars if I could. I've eaten there several times and I don't have a single bad thing to say. I love that someone put a lot of thought and making the atmosphere so creatively done. Livewood edges on the bar in areas, the bar stools, and the way some tables are literally attached to the bar makes this place different in the best kind of way.“

“we came in last night for Tuesday night trivia. I got the wings, double grilled with hot pants Kaluger. They were HUGE and cooked to perfection with a nice char. we also got a BYO Pizza well done and it was delicious. I was already planning on coming back for the trivia, but now Im coming back for the trivia AND food. our server Riley was also really great and kept our drinks full all night.“
