“The guys at the Port of Toledo recommend this little place with a drive through and a walk up window that was directly on my route to the port. The gentleman who waited on me said their rib sammich was "fall off the bone" tender.....he told the truth. The onion rings were the bomb as well as the deep fried mushrooms. YUM.....!!!!“

“Updating review from last time we visited about 6 months ago. Abby was our bartender/server both times and service was fantastic. The major difference from last time was the food was great this time comparable to 734 one of our favorite restaurants. The texas twinkies, chicken wings, and brisket were perfect“

“Went there for Valentines Day and had a fun and great experience. You can pick your steak as they are on display in a glass enclosure as you enter. We did just that and had ribeyes. The place was packed and it was 11:30 am! We can see why. The steak were delicious, cooked to perfection, the loaded baked potato was excellent as was the caesar salads we ordered. The manager came by to see if we were enjoying our meal. Everyone was friendly. I just read the reviews from people claiming they werent served because they were black. I dont believe them because half the clientele ws black and they were all around us being treated as well as we were. The prices are great and include two sides. We also took a meal home with us and ordered a full rack of ribs with sweet potatoes. All the food was delicious. Will definitely go back. Outdoes J. Alexanders where we used to be regulars.“

“My burger was very undercooked, so I sent it back (I spent 10 years in restaurants, I hate doing that) it took over half an hour and came back with no sauce and soooo much lettuce -you could tell the kitchen was mad at me for returning the food. But....I mean, fair. I've been there.
They were understaffed for the rush they got when we went. Our server/the bartender Monica was sweet as could be. As accommodating as she could be with a full bar and several tables. Props to her, she was wonderful.
I understand the kitchen's frustration and I'm sorry for sending food back, but that part of the experience was unpleasant. My boyfriend enjoyed his steak, though.“

“I prefer the Shortys of about 7 years ago. I like the current, but it just doesn't hit the same. Also, I feel now that it's over priced for what you get in regards of quality and quantity. Our waitress was amazing though! Always great service and atmosphere.“
