Excellent food , Fast, friendly service
The pancakes and steak are life
We're from out of town and stopped in here for breakfast this morning. The food was really nice, the coffee was great! I really liked how easy the ordering system was!
But the shining star from our visit was the manager on duty (I think he was the manager, at least). There was a crazy homeless guy wandering around, causing a bit of commotion. He was clearly unwell, but Mr. Manager stepped in to make sure we were safe, and even offered us free breakfast coupons to apologize!...read full review

City Egg, a breakfast spot in downtown Toledo, offers a clean and neat dining area with friendly staff. The menu is easily visible, and the prices are reasonable with short waiting times. The self-serve kiosk system provides quick service, although there were some issues with order accuracy. Despite this, the cook was accommodating and made changes when necessary. The food quality was mixed, with greasy hashbrowns but delicious pancakes and fine eggs. The place is very clean, and the service is friendly. The staff is quick. The food is delicious, and the coffee is great. The 2 workers were very productive, and the person who helps with the orders was very helpful. The atmosphere is quiet, and the food offers great value. Overall, City Egg has the potential to improve its ordering process and maintain a hospitable atmosphere for customers to enjoy their meal.
