“Sueño is now easily our favorite Mexican restaurant in Dayton. The atmosphere is vibrant, with great energy and stylish decor. The service is impeccable, complete with complimentary valet parking! Their cocktails are a highlight, especially 'The Guy,' and the food is out of this world. We tried the chips and salsa, (Salsa del Día), Tacos de Cochinita, and the smoked chicken enchiladas — all were absolutely delicious. The smoked chicken enchiladas were so good that we had to order a second serving. I could eat their chips and salsa every day; the salsa, possibly a fermented pineapple and jalapeño blend, is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. If you're looking for upscale Mexican cuisine, Sueño will not disappoint!“

“My friend lives off 3rd Street and said she had fabulous food here. When I pulled up I wasn't sure what I was walking into but have been there almost every week since my first time a few months ago. Great food, really good service and you get your food quick! And did I mention the prices! Wow so well priced. Great quesadillas, great burritos and out of this world salsa. Try them, you will not be sorry. In case you didn't realize, I highly recommend this amazing little family run restaurant.“

“Me and my husband LOVE this place. Their tacos al pastor are the best ones we've had in a while, their salsas are refreshing and spicy, they give a good amount of meat on the tacos, and everything on the menu is delicious. I specifically enjoyed their steak burrito. They put the perfect amount of the ingredients and it was huge. They also serve a warm, comforting champurrado, which tasted perfect as well. 10/10 We recommend!“

Absolutely incredible experience! This is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. The food was and is always fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. We had the Nacho Fajita and the Fajita Salad both were amazing!

Customer service was top-tier. Our server, Aureliano, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. He truly went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Highly recommend this place!

If I’m ever craving a Long Island, this is the place I trust to make it just right. Their drinks are always strong, balanced, and worth the trip on their own. But what really keeps me coming back is the food—especially their Quesadilla Texana. It’s packed with chicken, steak, and shrimp, making it one of the most satisfying quesadillas I’ve ever had. The portion size is generous enough that I usually end up with leftovers, which is always a nice bonus.

The service at El Toro has also been consistently impressive. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel taken care of. One moment that really stood out to me was when I arrived late to meet a group of friends, and my meal was served at the same time as theirs despite me ordering afterward. “If you want the most rich and flavorful ice cream and gelato, come try theirs… it is the bomb and I hate to say it but puts Rita’s to shame. Their walking tacos, loaded fries are great. Some very interesting Mexican treats including mini pancakes covered in fresh fruit and sauce, ramen Mexican style, fresh fruit dishes, elote—corn on the cob smothered in mayo and cheese—try it! “My wife and I randomly chose to eat here for our date night and we're so happy we did. The food was so good! The staff were so friendly to us. We even got to meet the owner and hear his story of his family opening Italian restaurants, beginning with his dad immigrating to the states years ago.“

“This location is a great place. I’ve been going here for practically 5 years straight. Once or twice I’ve meet the owner and he’s a great guy. There are a couple people here who have been working for a while now and they’re great. One issue though is they frequently hire family and those workers tend to be slower and very bad on portions. Overall great location and great food. Just try to train these employees!“
