“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.“

“Sueño is now easily our favorite Mexican restaurant in Dayton. The atmosphere is vibrant, with great energy and stylish decor. The service is impeccable, complete with complimentary valet parking! Their cocktails are a highlight, especially 'The Guy,' and the food is out of this world. We tried the chips and salsa, (Salsa del Día), Tacos de Cochinita, and the smoked chicken enchiladas — all were absolutely delicious. The smoked chicken enchiladas were so good that we had to order a second serving. I could eat their chips and salsa every day; the salsa, possibly a fermented pineapple and jalapeño blend, is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. If you're looking for upscale Mexican cuisine, Sueño will not disappoint!“

“I don’t review on here unless something is great or terrible, and Lily’s is firmly in the first category. I’ve visited since they opened and felt it was a great brunch spot, but the menu was a bit static for date night dinner. I’m happy to say, they’ve knocked it out of the park with their new menu and Tiki Bar theme.
Cocktails were well-crafted and deserving of the price point, food was excellent and the portions were incredible! Best of all was the service. I’ve always enjoyed the waitstaff at Lily’s, but the team they have now truly love their jobs and their customers, and it shows! They collectively serve the customers as a team and work very cohesively. The result was prompt service and getting to interact with multiple wonderful humans. 10/10 will be back again soon!“

“Great food and great service. My only complaint is that some of the tables are crammed together. It was awkward on Valentine's weekend as the tables were so close in the area I was sat that it felt like we were sitting at a table with strangers. One side was a single long bench and I was maybe two feet from someone else. It was impossible not to overhear all the conversations. Not the atmosphere you want for this occasion.“

“My friend lives off 3rd Street and said she had fabulous food here. When I pulled up I wasn't sure what I was walking into but have been there almost every week since my first time a few months ago. “We had not been to this place before and we were traveling on the road so we needed fairly quick service. From start to finish we were very happy with the food. They make their own focaccia and bring a house Blended herb butter. As an appetizer we ordered an olive mix which came warm and in a delectable oil with spice. That helped us finish up the rest of the focaccia. Our entree was one we split and it was plenty for two. It was a pasta dish al dente with clams and nicely ground Italian sausage in a butter sauce. Could not have asked for a better service.“

“Hoagie's was a staple for me in the 80s and early 90s when I lived nearby and worked in the Poe Avenue area. It had been a long time since I'd visited so I drove over (across town from Fairborn - about 25 minutes one way) and ordered when I got there. I got two pizzas, a whole Spider (one of my all time favorite sandwiches) and the stuffed garlic bread. I grabbed a Coke and sat outside on their patio in the lovely weather. 20-ish minutes later, they brought my order right out to me. It think it was about $40 and well worth it. The pizza was just as I remembered it - the big thing I love is their sauce has a great tomato flavor and isn't too sweet. Great crust and well topped. I ordered my wife's pizza light sauce and they did it perfectly. The Spider was everything I remembered and the stuffed bread sticks might be my wife's new favorite thing. They have a nice amount of inside seating and the staff was very friendly. While I was waiting outside, it was a constant stream of folks coming for pickup orders. Hoagie's is as good as I remember and it will be on our regular rotation going forward. I just made me happy to reconnect with some of those memories from my first job working in that area and to get back to Hoagie's. If you have the chance, you should go.“

“We had lunch on Saturday and as usual all of our meals were delicious! Our server Karugu was fantastic!! Friendly, efficient, quick to refill our drinks with a great smile! We started off with pretzel bites, hot and delicious! Started off with cups of gumbo, perfect on a cold rainy day! Great soup loaded with shrimp, chicken and sausage. Then the 4 of us had deluxe pizza, a tuna melt, chicken quesadilla and the Italian sub. Everything was great. The pizza crust was crispy and light. Perfect!“

I ordered a Scratch-Made Mushroom and Black Bean Patty, Spring Mix, Smoked Coconut, Signature Sauce, Onion Crunch, Pickles, Tomatoes w/House Chips, and it was exceptionally delicious. Everything was fresh, and it was evident that it was made with love. As someone who rarely eats out due to a preference for preparing fresh meals, Ms. Rhea has undoubtedly changed my perspective. I intend to order from her establishment once a month. That sandwich certainly deserves recognition. “We had not been at OE for over a year. Only 9 people in the bar on a Friday night at 7:00pm….no band. Good service, as always. A large Chicken Ranchero pizza was $22.00, and it was only so-so. I don’t know what is happening in the Oregon District.“

I did The Hibachi experience so I got to sit at the grill, the hibachi Chef came out and put on the whole show for entertainment and cook our food right there in front of us. This is the main reason why you come to Hibachi or Japanese Steakhouse is for the entertainment and show but the food being good is a major Plus. So if you ever in the area or you live in this town stop in and have some great food and a show.“

“Usually their food is good, but today I got the bbq chicken and I ordered 3 pcs, but got four and now I see why...the chicken was dry and hard to chew. I had to pit pieces of it out because it was so dry. I was very disappointed because their food is usually good. I learned to NEVER get the bbq chicken on the buffet....I rather they tell me the chicken was old and dry than to give me an extra piece. I wanted juicy, hot chicken, not lukewarm dry, hard to chew chicken. A person could choke on that dry bbq, come on Burgermasters, feed that to the dogs, don't cover old chicken up in hbq sauce and sell it for regular price to customers that love you guys.. that's how places go out of business. I may give you another chance, but just know that you broke my expectations and heart today because I brought my daughter to your establishment and introduced you guys to her as a future customer.“

“This is our new favorite local spot in Englewood. We moved here from Florida a little over a year and a half ago, and finally got to try it. My son had the Alfredo (no chicken)and a soda, I had the homemade sauce spaghetti, and we got a garlic cheese bread appetizer. It was so delicious! We paid $36 for everything. I feel like that is a very fair price for today's time. I can easily pay $30 at any fast food joint, so paying this for a sit down place is good IMO. It's a hole on the wall local place. If you're looking for fancy restaurant, you won't like it. For my family, we live local places like this. Oh, and the service was wonderful. All of the staff were so friendly.“
