“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.“

You can’t go wrong with the Pollo con Arroz (ask to add vegetables!)
Authentic picks that I love:
- Caldo de pollo (pictured)
- Quesabirria (Authentic tacos dipped in a sauce, also pictured)
- Chilaquiles Verdes
- Street tacos (corn tortilla + salsa verde)
They also have some American food for the kids, like chicken, wings, personal pizza, cheeseburger, maybe some others.

“What a great experience! The building was beautiful, it’s huge but still feels very private. Ordering at different bars is kinda weird, I’d love for them to use a kiosk system or something but also wasn’t a big enough turn off to change my mind on coming here in the future. Service was quick and friendly, and everything was really yummy. We had two boards, and the roasted olives and several varieties of beer since my husband kept ordering me the “surprise me” beer and let the bartender pick. The kids brought card games and played quietly while the adults conversed and caught up… and we had about 100 dollars of food and 100 dollars of beer and I don’t regret the spurge. We were there around 2 hours.“
