“This is my favorite Hibachi place in Akron. So many hibachi places have started using frozen vegetables which I cannot understand for the life of me. Nippon Hibachi still uses FRESH vegetables. The taste and quality of the meat is FRESH. Chicken is definitely chicken and not a mystery meat. Portions are excellent. I usually split one meal into 2 or share with someone. Also, the owners and workers are SOO SOOO nice. I have never not had a pleasant experience here. Also if you pickup, every meal comes with a drink, although I don’t think it says that on the menu.“

“I recently ordered the Chicken Hibachi Combo Meal with Broccoli, Carrots, Onions, Zucchini, and Fried Rice with two additional Yum Yum Sauces. It was pretty good. I would order again. I particularly liked the Fried Rice with Vegetables.“

“This establishment serves authentic and delicious Japanese food with more than generous portion sizes - that allowed my school-aged sons and I to have both dinner and lunch the next day!
The lobby/small dining area was very clean and appealing! And, the fact that this is a family-run business (with several generations working together and taking pride in their finished product) warmed my heart because this is something we need more of in today’s society!
The owner (and mother of three) who took our order was quite personable, and her sons (including a highly intelligent and happy toddler) were very well-mannered and polite!
We will definitely be ordering takeout from here again!“

“My favorite fast food Japanese hibachi place I’ve been to. It’s very tasty, it’s that sweet salty sauce they add by the spoonful that does it. You really need to try this place’s chicken teriyaki. Only lost one star for its non flashy atmosphere but it’s still a nice one. I definitely recommend this place.“
