“Of all the places to go to with a food allergy such as soy/soybean oil. The waiter was considerate. He suggested salmon, white rice and mixed grilled vegetables using butter, sprinkle with salt and pepper. It was delicious.Dietary restrictions: Soybean allergy“
“This is hands down one of the best hibachi restaurants in Akron!!!! 5stars.. everything fresh.. I even watched them scramble a fresh egg in my fried rice. I ordered chicken and shrimp. The shrimp are really jumbo.. I’ll definitely be back!“
“Fresh Susshi, my to go to is Crazy tuna roll ? with chicken Hibachi if only surf than spicy tuna roll with Crazy tuna roll and whatever special they have avaliable on the rotating menu. ✋️s down A1 japan is always consistent with quality food and service would recommend most definitely!“
“5 stars!!! I am so glad I found this hidden gem. Always phenomenal food. We get the teriyaki chicken and noodles. Plus varieties of Boba teas. All the Boba teas are delicious. The staff is very nice.My family loves this placeKid-friendliness: My son loves it“
“I started coming here for the hibachi when they first opened and it’s always been great! The flavor, portion, and price can’t be beat. Their egg rolls are THE BEST and we’ve never been disappointed by anything we’ve tried there. This time we went I was undecided on what to get and the server recommended I try the pho. OMG was this so so GOOD! (Hence the review)Really the food is always great no matter what we get, but the amount of flavor in that pho blew me away so I had to drop a review.“
“They are really good on details. They are good on delivering on time. They also offered customization on the items we ordered. I would recommend this place if you have a gathering and you need a large quantity of foods. I will recommend the Salmon, Shrimp and Chicken, and the steak.“
“Very good first experience here. I was given options and suggestions on the menu. Serve was fast and professional. They even had me wait in my vehicle and brought it out to me. The food was outstanding and more than I thought it would be. If you get a chance, I highly recommend this place.“
“The photo I took did not give this sushi roll justice. The OMG roll had an epic presentation and flavor to match it's bold presentation. Our group arrived there due to an issue with our existing reservations at a different location. When called Sakura Japanese Sushi & Hibachi not only accommodated our party but gave fantastic service. Service was quick, the staff gave excellent recommendations, and the food was delicious. I would go there again!Vegetarian options: There were a lot of vegetarian options. I wouldn’t go there for the vegetarian choices but there was no shortage of them.Dietary restrictions: They had food that met many of my dietary restriction needsParking: There was lots of parking.Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is kid-friendly. There were children next to our party and it felt like there was enough space and separation for both parties to enjoy themselves.Wheelchair accessibility: The facility had ample wheelchair access. The aisles were wide and the seating had lots of variety regardless of your location in the restaurant.“
“I ordered chicken and shrimp with half rice and half noodles! It was enough to feed myself and my 3 children and we still have some left for $15 dollars!! The food was so good! My son hurried up and ate into the container I couldn’t get a picture! The best hibachi place in the city hands down!“
“Amazing! We were hesitant about how good the quality would be in a smaller location compared to the Beldon location. Our worries were completely eliminated after we started eating. The food was amazing, I would say better than Beldon, and cheaper too. It's close, delicious, affordable, and fast... it's a great addition to the town and I hope they do well enough to stay around. We will be ordering from here much more often, and you should too.“
“The environment was great, the food was great as well. I do have some concerns about cross contamination. Each station had several raw food options to choose from but there were only a couple utensils per station to use to pick your meats and vegetables from. Other than that it was a good “
“This is a family owned restaurant. A real mom & pop joint. An older man that looks like he has wisdom in his knuckles & the presence of "Uncle Iroh" love runs the place. His food is always on point. A younger woman with a few lil kiddos runs the place when he is away. Her food is tasty but less of a perfected art. The woman is using the business teaching her kids valuable skills by allowing them to assist @ the register. I actually enjoyed watching her show her lil girl how to properly count change & the excitement of a job well done for the kid. Learning math & customer service right before my eyes. Other times the kids are doing hw or playing a game. This isnt a dine in place. I usually get a shrimp & chicken w/rice. Portion sizes are nice. I usually have left overs or share with my toddler. Family ran businesses are my fav.“
“We absolutely LOVE this place ! Sushi is the best I’ve had in Ohio & you can’t beat the prices buy one get one 50% off sushi rolls . Open till 1:30 for late night munchies , hits the spot every time . We have dined in and had great service & several carry out orders that are packed with care & always right ! I am so very glad we found this place ! We treat ourselves anytime we are in the area!“
“Went with 7 friends and had a blast. We met about 6 and there was nobody else there. The hostess commanded our attention and explained what we needed to know. Our cook was very skilled and entertaining. I wasn't thinking and only got one picture. I hope we all decide to go back soon.“
“Went there for grand opening and was closed. ☹️I’ve been waiting over a month for this amazing place to open back up…I heard it was an emergency so I’m going to hold it against him. I hope everything is okay. Hopefully I can order from there tomorrow!!“
“Staff and service are totally satisfied. The store is clean. But I kind of disappointed with the food and drink.I got the Matcha milk bubble tea, Boba is hard and the tea tastes weird. The ramen was too tasteless for me. The pork belly is not tender and the egg is hard-boiled, not soft-boiled.Gyoza looks different but still ok.The portion is big a lot of noodles and pork belly.I was so hungry, so I ate all the noodles. It's not that good but still can eat.Try yourself you might like it more than me ;)“
“Me and my son had such a fun night this past weekend as we enjoyed our chef Bryan as he prepared our Hibachi dinner. The chef was extremely funny, kept our entire table involved while he was cooking for us. He joked with my son and had my son laughing the entire time. I definitely recommend this restaurant. It's by far our favorite Japenese Steakhouse. We cannot wait to return again and we will be requesting that Bryan cook for us!! Thank you BryanKid-friendliness: Kept interacting with my son and making my son laugh. He threw broccoli into my sons mouth and joked with him the entire time. Thank you so much!!“
“We got dinner here on a Friday night and got it as a to-go order. The service was speedy and the restaurant was packed. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The food was good, it did lack the normal hibachi flavoring and one of the people in my group said the chicken was a little dry. The other person in my group got tofu and said it was very good. Definitely worth checking out, I think next time I'll eat at the restaurant.“
