“Menche’s was kind enough to support the Green HS varsity baseball seniors this week. The individually wrapped cheeseburgers were meaty, cooked perfectly, even had toasted buns! Delicious! “With its unique design and solid drinks, High St Hop House is over if my favorite bars in downtown Akron. The bar itself isn't huge, but it's beautifully decorated - like I'd imagine a bar from the 1920s - and it's immediately adjacent to an art gallery sitting area where they occasionally have live music as well. Walking thru the gallery, there's a second bar at the back with curated wine selections. A unique space, good service, and a fine drink selection make this place a gem downtown.“

“So I didn't actually go into this place but turned in to avoid the ever so annoying state trooper behind me. And as I leave. . a large woman tells and tries to sell me the most "fire weed " in Akron. I didn't buy it. But I feel as if I'm guna regret that for life“

“Palombos is my favorite go-to restaurant. The service is always excellent and the food is always of the highest quality. The salad is always fresh and the white French dressing is to die for…especially with a sprinkle of blue cheese. My favorites are the walleye and scrod. If you haven’t been there, don’t miss this local gem.“

“Easy access from 76 West a road we travel 2-3 times per year. We will now plan our trip around eating here! Absolutely amazing food, great presentation and so much of it!! Prices were fantastic, almost like they forgot to raise them for the last 10 years. The quantity was so much we all went home with extra that will easily make lunch tomorrow and maybe even dinner too! This is a hidden gem. The best part was Cheryl our server. She was superb. Happy, excited, full of energy and loud. I say loud because that was a huge benefit. It’s an open atmosphere and it wasn’t noisy at all but she spoke so sharp and clear and I just really liked her. She is also the person that answered the phone when I called 3.5 hours East of her asking if they would be open when we arrived. Her personality really sold me on the phone that this is the place I wanted to take my family to eat dinner before we continued our trip West. 💯❤️ everything ‼️“

“Great place for the Akron locals to meet up and get absolutely Buck Wild. However - if you are someone who pees in the woman’s bathroom or are a part of the management staff - there should be a sign in the Women’s restroom middle stall that says “Hold to flush”, as that is necessary for the plumbing of this particular toilet. Please put this sign in here. I feel like I should be paid for this.- posting from the middle stall“

“Carrie waited on our group of 7 tonight - she was awesome and accommodated all our requests. She refilled our drinks often and the food was delicious. 10 out of 10 - everyone got something different and we all enjoyed our food.“

“we came in last night for Tuesday night trivia. I got the wings, double grilled with hot pants Kaluger. They were HUGE and cooked to perfection with a nice char. we also got a BYO Pizza well done and it was delicious. I was already planning on coming back for the trivia, but now Im coming back for the trivia AND food. our server Riley was also really great and kept our drinks full all night.“
