The food here is amazing. Lot of Pan Asian dishes, plus great sushi at very reasonable prices. Everything's fresh and delicious.
The service is below average in that you should expect your server to forget a simple request at least once during the dining experience. Because some people order spicier food, the servers should really pay attention to which dish goes to whom. Definitely room for improvement.

This is the one place I make sure to go whenever I am in Columbus. Absolutely fantastic food and people there everytime.

Bonsai restaurant offers a wide selection of Japanese and Korean dishes. Customers appreciate the attentive and kind staff, making the service exceptional. The gim bap and gyoza are particularly tasty, perfect with a Sapporo beer. The Korean stew with rice cakes is a crowd favorite. The food is consistently good, fresh, and hot, whether dining in or ordering through Grubhub. The Sunday morning sushi is a must-try, paired with their delicious plum wine. The owner is kind and thoughtful, and the manager is always personable and accommodating. The setting is cozy and welcoming. While the service may have room for improvement, the servers are polite and sweet. With such a variety of dishes and exceptional service, Bonsai is a place worth returning to for new culinary experiences.
