“Was with a very large group that stormed in out of the blue. We frequent dive bars across the country.. Some from Wisconsin, Colorado, Michigan, Florida, Illinois.. The bartender handled us like a champ! I'm sorry I didn't get her name. The locals were awesome too! My group loved it so much, another big group went the next day.“

“Everything is great but sucked that I had to go back inside after leaving from picking up a take out order because they forgot sour cream. The lady said the quesadilla doesn’t come with it but I said it was on the menu. She went back and got a little blob of it but literally held it from me saying “I’m going to have to confirm that the menu says that or else I’m going to have to charge you.” Like cool story I guess I look like a liar. After they pulled the menu on their phones and said “I guess it does say that on the menu” I got my little blob. Y’all would have charged for this?“

“Inn Cahoots is a wonderful place with great food, amazing staff, and comfortable environment. I come there often with my dad and it is always a wonderful time. The staff is very friendly and kind and treat customers with respect and care. Great. place!“

“We always have a great time at Teschner's! The atmosphere is fun and the food is beyond outstanding! My wife and I travel from California to visit family in the greater Cleveland area and we always have a craving to dine at Teschner's to see what's new on the menu. “As much as I like going out to new, hyped hotspots, I also love cozy, relaxed & casual dive bar vibes. Hoopples definitely hits the mark. Warm, friendly atmosphere, personable staff, solid drink selection, a simple menu with classic feel-good comfort food, darts & machine bowling, and local decor honoring Cleveland sports, motorcycle culture, and other local interests. Street parking is available. The establishment is also much bigger inside than it looks from the outside, with a good amount of seating inside and out on the patio. Hoopples has a mix of the after-work crowd winding down after a long day, locals having a good time to eat, drink, enjoy each other's company, and watch a sports game. I came on a weekday night, and while it was buzzing with energy, it wasn't too crowded, which was nice. Overall, if you're looking to have a casual, super laidback hangout spot, I would definitely recommend Hoopples!“

“Delicious spot -- the Polish Girl sandwich was SO good -- gigantic. The fried potatoes were amazing. My son thought the fatty brisket was too rich for him, so maybe kids would do better with lean. My other son devoured his ribs. I enjoyed the baked beans too. Great service - very fun place. Highly recommend.“

“So... THIS is where I'll be getting my oxtails when I'm too lazy to make them! They were excellent. I got the oxtail dinner, a beef patty, and a side of plantains. The portions were impressive, and everything was seasoned perfectly. The beef patty was basically the same beef patty you'd get everywhere else, but that's okay because they're always good. But, back to the oxtails... soooooo tender and meaty with the perfect amount of gravy! I was happy enough to have a great, well-made meal, but the spinners knocked me off my feet! I've had Jamaican oxtails from here to California, but no one's ever added spinners to my meal! If you don't know, they're yummy, dense, cylindrical dumplings. They made me SO happy! She's putting out quality food with such love and care. These are the types of chefs and restaurants that we need to support.“

“I often stop here while out riding with my friends for a beer and a burger. It's kind of old school with many tables which they move around to accommodate the number of people in your party. The major emphasis is the bar, and it's clean, with courteous bartenders and servers. Not really a place to visit for an upscale dinner, although I've never had a bad sandwich there. Nice place to stop in for a sandwich and a cocktail.“

“We were traveling from Cleveland home but were all hungry even before leaving Cleveland. We didn't want to stop anywhere in the direct city for food because you had to pay for parking basically everywhere and every place we did stop someone was walking around person to person begging or even demanding money. So I searched sit down burger restaurants that were on our route home but just outside of city and this place came up. It was perfect! Not far from the aquarium in Cleveland, free parking, right off the highway and it felt very comfortable for myself and family. The food was delicious and they made it to serve. “First and second visitWent to eat with my son home from the Navy and the atmosphere was like he was still on the ship with his team, one of the family. Service was second to none! The food was so good my entire work crew ordered it the next week for lunch! I recommend the mozzarella sticks. I’m not sure how you can make those better, but they did! Also it seems any burger because I’ve had the jr burger and jack burger both great! Can’t wait to try the specialty nights they offer!“

“Characters has been around for a long time and for good reason! It is solid American bar food at an exceptional price point. On Wednesdays they have a 6 oz sirloin steak for $5.99! If that isn't motivation enough to get you down there, let me tell you about their wings. They are pretty damn good! The wing night isn't as good of a deal as it once was. I believe they are $1 a wing.“

“Jukebox is HANDS DOWN the absolute best bar in Cleveland. I’m here a couple times of week and the food is delectable and the drinks are spectacular. “Solid place for beer and cider, friendly and quick staff also. Limited seating but if you find a spot it's a great place to watch the Browns game! Tons of TVs and not to rowdy. The food here is typical American and good for beer. Parking is tricky because you have to pay unless you find free street parking.“

“My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the warmth and friendliness of this local bar and grill. We stopped in midday for a quick bite and Maria the hostess, bartender, waitress, chief cook and bottle washer, welcomed us like long lost family. My wife and I shared a fish dinner which was served hot right from the fryer and the French fries were hand cut. The menu is limited, but Maria ran through their daily specials for the week and shared that she prepared a lot of the items from scratch. We were even gifted a large cabbage from regular customer who brought it in to see if it might be needed on the grill for St. Patty’s Day. We will be back to try out the specials.“

Especially out in Bedford, are used to work for a car dealership out there, and more often than not, you get very familiar with the local cuisine.
