“Visiting from Maryland, and read good reviews about Danspot. Glad we came. Dinner was fantastic. I had the Shrimp Piccatta, and my wife had Pipette pesto pasta with chicken. Both were outstanding. And our server Jake, was wonderful. Friendly and attentive. If you're in the area of the MGM Northfield, be sure to stop at Danspot. You will be glad you did.”

“We have been coming to Hot Grillz Diner since we saw it on New Day Cleveland (way before the pandemic). Karen and crew are awesome and the food is fabulous. “I was happily surprised to find the King Tut, Egyptian Street Food truck at my niece’s graduation party! The owners were helpful in explaining the menu and delightful to chat with. The food is delicious, full of flavor and seasoned perfectly. Even some of my family members, who are not that adventurous with food, raved about the various selections they tried!”

“We spent some time at The Christmas Story House, Gift Shop and museum. The Rowley Inn is right on the same corner and was AMAZING! We went to get a seat oround 3:45pm and they got a table of 7 right in for us! Food, price and staff was so great! Will definitely come back!!!”

“Best best sushi I’ve had in Cleveland. It’s such a perfect small restaurant with a really relaxed and intimate ambience (I love that it’s underground and that you don’t get signal and get to just disconnect).

Their daily/weekly specials are so creative and fresh, and everything is so well made. You can watch the chefs put everything together in front of you if you sit at the bar which I would highly recommend.

Seared salmon belly is to die for.

Service was also great.

They don’t have many cooked rolls so if you are averse to having raw fish, options are definitely there but limited. If you want to try raw fish in sushi as a first timer, I do recommend doing it here.

“We went last night for our anniversary... Kenya was our server... 5 stars Kenya! the food was to die for! The service made you feel at home having dinner with family! Ian Baggs was hilarious, as usual! I forgot the name of the opening comedian, but he was hilarious as well! I'm so happy I found this place, and it will be our regular date night spot!”

“I feel bad for leaving a negative review awhile back…I recommend them to out of state friends and did some arm twisting to get them to try Danny’s…unfortunately the food was kind of subpar that day…Danny’s did the right thing and reached out to make it right after I left the bad review…but everybody is entitled to an off day. Mary was hands down the best waitress we’ve ever had—top-notch friendly, incredibly informative, and she truly made the entire night memorable. We can’t say enough great things about her. The drinks were outstanding. We tried five or six off the menu, and every single one was handcrafted and delicious. Favorites were the Old Fashioned, Cat’s Meow, espresso martinis, and my absolute favorite—the Frosted Sour. The food was out of this world, and the place itself is super cute with a great ambiance.
