“Good food, friendly staff,“

“I am a DoorDasher and picked up an order on Saturday, July 16th. Firstly, I would like to thank the young man working the front counter for being so friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, I lost my son to suicide two years ago and for some reason, this young man reminded me of my son SO much in a couple different ways. It wasn’t until he looked at me and told me to “have a great day” that I kind of lost control because he said it exactly how my son would have. I was doing my best to stop the tears, but he came around the counter and gave me a giant hug. Donatos: you’ve got a caring young man on staff that seems to take the entirety of his job on very well! To his mother/parents: thank you for raising such a kind young gentleman. The smile in his eyes and his hug did more for me than I could ever put into words!!! ❤️ (I didn’t catch his name, but he had on a black hat with red rhinestones that said ‘Savage’ across the front.)“

“Had heard great things about the Vegan options that Flavors offered and boy was I not disappointed. The man at the counter went over the menu in detail pointing out the vegan options. I got the Hummus bake and it was delicious. The chips, salsa and garlic sauce was outstanding. I will be back. Great food, great service at a very reasonable price and made to order VEGAN style.“

“Me and my weekly lunch bunch of 6 ladies have this place in our regular rotation. The clam chowder is perfection with tender, not chewy, clams. Paired it with Boom Boom shrimp for the tastiest lunch. Just sorry it took me so long to try this place.“

“Very different but excellent food and service“

“Our favorite restaurant in downtown Dayton. Like the atmosphere, the people, and the food! Guacamole was delicious as usual. Enchiladas verdes were out of this world good. Meghan was wonderful as a server. And finally, thank you for our favorite seats at the chef’s counter. Love watching everyone cook! We will be back after the new year. 😊“

“Originally from Buffalo NY, found it very difficult to find a pizza that even comes close to what I was used to. I've tried many pizzas across the Miami Valley and all I can say is that most were pretty bad, and a few ok but not much more. 2 places were halfway decent but those places went downhill. I finally tried Joe's Pizza last month and have to say, the Absolute Best in Miami Valley. It was the closest to Buffalo Style Pizza I ever had in Southwest Ohio. Told their Staff the same. I will definitely be going back there despite being a little drive from where I live. I would recommend Joe's Pizza to everyone, especially if you're looking for a quality pizza!!“

“I have been to this KPOT location several times. Every time I have had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food. Tonight we had an absolutely amazing server. AJ was very kind and provided exceptional service, which was so very appreciated after our 8 hour drive back home from visiting family. Honestly I don't know how KPOT keeps managing to go above and beyond our expectations each time we visit, but we are consistently leaving very pleased. Great job to the KPOT staff for being amazing at what they do 💜“

“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.“

“You can tell a lot about a place by how they treat people right before closing, and Papa’s Pizza Palace absolutely passed that test for us. We showed up about 10 minutes before they closed and honestly almost turned around because we didn’t want to be those last-minute customers keeping everyone there late. We felt bad even walking in that close to closing time, but the blonde girl working up front immediately made us feel welcome. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. Not once did she seem annoyed or rushed, which honestly surprised us because a lot of places would have made us feel like a burden for coming in so late. She took our order with a smile, answered a couple questions we had, and genuinely acted happy to help us. That kind of customer service is getting harder and harder to find these days, especially late at night when employees are probably exhausted and ready to go home. It really stood out to us and completely changed what could have been an awkward experience into a really positive one. The owners should be proud to have someone like her working there because she represented the business so well and made such a great impression on us. And the pizza itself was amazing. Fresh, hot, loaded with toppings, and honestly some of the best pizza we’ve had in a long time. You could tell they still cared about the quality even right before closing. We actually drove about 30 minutes to try this place after winning a gift certificate, and after this experience, we’d gladly make that drive again even without one. Between the great food and the genuinely kind customer service, Papa’s Pizza Palace definitely earned repeat customers out of us. Places that still treat people this well deserve recognition, and we’ll absolutely be back.“

“I highly recommend this restaurant! We have never had a bad meal there. Of all the restaurants we go to, Sima is always one we return to more than any other. Friendly staff, home cooked food. My husband always says it's like what his mom used to make. Our go to appetizer is the agadashi tofu, Dduk Bbok Gi, or the Korean pancake. Last night we had the Squid dolsot and the Jaeyook Tofu & Kimchi. Loved every bite!“

“We had not been at OE for over a year. Only 9 people in the bar on a Friday night at 7:00pm….no band. Good service, as always. A large Chicken Ranchero pizza was $22.00, and it was only so-so. I don’t know what is happening in the Oregon District.“

“Stopped in with my hubby today for breakfast, it was our first visit to George’s. Everything was phenomenal from the food to the service. We will certainly be back in the future!“

“Apps were delicious. One ordered spicy salmon and it came with no asparagus. Another ordered stir fry and it had no onions, carrots or red peppers. It had only one small piece of broccoli and mushrooms and it was cold. For dessert they didn’t have any banana pudding. Menu sounded great but the food didn’t match the description. Probably won’t go a second time.“

“This was some of the best food and drinks I have ever had. I have been a big foodie my whole life and recently became a vegetarian. Since then, I have been struggling with finding dishes I truly love, especially when eating out. Well, we went to Meadowlark for the first time tonight and they blew it out of the water! “My friend lives off 3rd Street and said she had fabulous food here. When I pulled up I wasn't sure what I was walking into but have been there almost every week since my first time a few months ago. Great food, really good service and you get your food quick! And did I mention the prices! Wow so well priced. Great quesadillas, great burritos and out of this world salsa. Try them, you will not be sorry. In case you didn't realize, I highly recommend this amazing little family run restaurant.“

“We had our first visit to El Meson and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The entire restaurant is beautifully decorated and you can truly feel the culture and care that went into creating such a warm atmosphere. The moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. Our waitress, Stasha (I apologize if I spelled her name wrong), was absolutely wonderful. She clearly knows her job very well. From the moment she came to our table, she made an instant connection with us and was incredibly kind and attentive. She even took time to talk with the kids, brought them toys, and surprised our son with birthday ice cream, which was such a thoughtful touch. She also knew a lot about the menu and the events they host on certain days and made several recommendations — and she was absolutely right about all of them. The food was incredible: flavorful, authentic, and beautifully prepared. Everything we tried was spot on. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great service, amazing food, and a welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend checking them out.“

“We went to Three Birds tonight and had one of the best meals I’ve had in a minute. The meatloaf and salmon were amazing. I’m pretty mad because their chicken wings ruined the level of good I’m accustomed to. Their dry rub chicken wing is the best I’ve ever had. If you haven’t been there. Do yourself a favor and go there tomorrow. Don’t order the chicken wings because I don’t want them to run out.“

“Tried for the first time…I got the bourbon chicken, cajun rice and spuds. Personally I feel like the chicken is a little too tough. You also must get the sauce on the side too for dipping or else it’s too bland…I feel like I would have liked the blackened chicken better. The star of the show though was the rice!! So delicious!! Potato’s were good. Could have been a bit more salted but other wise yummy. I will be back to try the blackened chicken and their yummy cajun rice.“

“The food came out hot and tasted really good, which was definitely the highlight of the visit. The restaurant was quite busy when we stopped in, and it seemed like the servers were handling a lot with a smaller staff. Because of that, the service was a little slower than usual, but the staff were still doing their best to keep things moving. Overall, I had a decent experience and understood the situation given how busy the place was. The hot, tasty food made the visit worthwhile, and I would give it another try.“

My daughter in law is Korean and my son spent years over there. When my daughter tasted here food, I have never seen her eyes light up with such excitement at finding food that took her home. I ordered a Scratch-Made Mushroom and Black Bean Patty, Spring Mix, Smoked Coconut, Signature Sauce, Onion Crunch, Pickles, Tomatoes w/House Chips, and it was exceptionally delicious. Everything was fresh, and it was evident that it was made with love. As someone who rarely eats out due to a preference for preparing fresh meals, Ms. Rhea has undoubtedly changed my perspective. I intend to order from her establishment once a month. That sandwich certainly deserves recognition. If you’re in Dayton Ohio or surrounding areas please support this black owner business, you will definitely do the happy dance while eating .“
