“Over one hour to receive our appetizers and total dinner over 90 minutes. Kitchen was very backed up. Table of four next to us got fed up and left after an hour. Not a good experience. Do yourself a favor and hire one person to clear the tables. Had to have been 4 or more dirty tables. Will not return for a while. You have become a carry out store and in house dining has become an after thought. Very good food but not worth the very long wait.“
“So incredibly impressed with the service and kindness at Hi sushi. I ordered on DoorDash and when my order was picked up but never delivered, they called me to check if I’d gotten my order. I was so glad they called because I would have continued waiting without knowing it wasn’t going to show up. I dealt with DoorDash and placed a new order. My new order came in perfect time and included an extra roll of what I had ordered, much appreciated. I’ve ordered here many times and the sushi is always great. Can’t recommend enough! “Nikki was my server and she was friendly. She recommended us the couples flight which we did. It did take about 30 minutes or more until we got our meat to cook when we were on a time crunch. The table next to us was extremely loud so I was unable to have a conversation with my date. Food was a large amount for fair pricing. We will go back but will ask to be in a more secluded table towards the front.“

“My fiancé and I have been meaning to come in and try Hibachi Express and we are so glad we did! When we came in, the workers were super friendly. The chef who called our number took such care on the food we got and even took the time to wipe our boxes so we didn’t get our hands messy. We were super pleased with the customer service and were just as pleased with the food. They have the BEST crab rangoons. Best place for hibachi around and we will gladly be incorporating Hibachi Express into our restaurant rotation.“

We got the Christmas tree roll and Volcano roll sushi to go. Good portions for the price! Pick up was easy. Ready on time. There is a small area with a selection of utensils including chopsticks and packets of duck sauce and soy sauce. Restaurant was clean and inviting. I prefer the spring roll to the egg roll. Overall great experience.Parking: In a strip mall with a grocery store. Large parking lot with plenty of spaces.“

I've happily changed my review to 5 stars!The bowls are so yummy, but I'm not able to order online, because the Korean BBQ is not an option for the Kenwood location! It's an option for "extra" but not as a main choice!?!! Please fix this. I have two other bowls that I can order online, but this one ingredient is not listed. Please help! “Typical Chinese Takeout.Was my go to spot but they just increased their prices, at least on delivery apps, from something like $12 to over $15 on orange chicken. The same order that cost me $22 now costs $32.I understand inflation has been rough, but ouch.This was my go to for affordable Chinese, but now the prices are beyond what I paid on takeout when I was in LA a couple months ago.“

“For a sushi restaurant that offers half priced sushi rolls, 5 stars across the board. This is one of three locations owned by the same people (Cloud 9 and Wabi Sabi). This right off to the side of Kenwood Mall. Service and food were quick. The rolls were very tasty. I think this location has more options than Wabi Sabi (Covington) and Cloud 9 (Mt Lookout).“
“There's so much to comb through on the menu here. The sushi menu is extensive enough that they could stand alone as a sushi place. They also have an extensive menu of Chinese and Thai dishes. The rainbow roll was pretty decent, not spectacular, but it passed the freshness test. Shumai was really good. From my experiences so far, the sauces steal the show for every dish. That simple dumpling dipping sauce, the marinade and peanut sauce with the chicken skewers, the sambal sauce with subte fish flavor.. all took the dishes to another level! Spice level of 3 was mild to modetate. They didn't skimp on protein or veggies portions in the stir fry. Online orders are always ready quickly. I'll gladly keep being a regular here!“

All of the ingredients were fresh, unblemished, and of high quality.So, let’s get into this protein. Who ever is back there needs a medal because all three meats were absolutely impressive. The steak and chicken tenderization methods are out of this world. The steak was cooked medium, but still managed to be so tender, it was like biting into a burger pattie. The flavor not overwhelming with expected south East Asian staple flavors; rather all of them were just present enough to compliment the flavor and texture of the meat. Simply outstanding. Reminiscing on the flavor of the leftovers I just ate 20 mins ago.The chicken does the same. Actually zoomed in on a thicker piece to check if it was fully cooked. And it was! AND it had a nice deep golden brown pan sear! (COME TO THINK OF IT SO DID THE STEAK!) And, In the same fashion as steak, it was tender as can be. Loaded with the same subtle and delicious sauce flavor.Than the shrimp. You know that snappy tender shrimp bursting with fresh-not-frozen flavor? Yep this is one of the spots that has the fresh pan seared juicy shrimp with the snappy golden skin that kinda peels up and turns golden and crispy in the pan sear…. It had that y’all…The noodles were bomb! Cause they had that subtle sauce soaked into them loaded with the umami from the meats and seared veggies.So delicious!And these leftovers y’all… it’s as great as you think it is. ☺️✨??“
