“This used to be a Denny's Diner but they worked hard at making it look more Mexican. They had buckets here and there because the town had been pummeled with rain and wind from hurricane Helen.
The food was good but I can't say excellent. Service and drinks were average.
As we were leaving there was a line waiting to get in. Looks like it's popular with the locals. It's wheelchair accessible.

“Me and my mom ate here today (06/19/2025) and we went outside to leave and I had a flat tire. Derek (an employee) immediately came out and was to our rescue . “Fred's has always been top tier when it comes to pizza. They recently renovated and changed majority of their interior to a modern industrial setting, and I hate it (part of the building still has the old aesthetic). I loved Fred's for what it was, and I feel like recently they're jumping on the modern bandwagon. The food is still amazing and I hope that never changes, but I hate the new look.”

“DQ may hire alot of Young/High School kids but These employee's are 99% more reliable, pays closer attention and will hardly ever mess up and order. And That speaks Volumes when it comes to Fast Food. These kids either Value their jobs or DQ has the Best training techniques in the History of Fast Food.

“Your standard McDonald's, not much to rave about. I will admit I prefer this one more to the Portsmouth location it seems a lot of their food is "fresher". The greatest thing I'd say is I probably had 3 cars ahead of me with a small wait. I just ordered a 10-piece nugget with nothing else and I got a complete 20-piece as gratitude for the wait which I can't turn down it was a nice surprise. The implementation of the third window for larger orders so that way workers don't always have to venture outside is a nice touch, plus the newer style while sadly more corporate-looking gives it a better overall look.”

“I'm at the wheelersburg Starbucks daily sometimes 3x a day. ( I love pink drinks) I've been trying food, and have yet to be disappointed. “First of all I come in here all of the time. My experiences here are always great the staff is very friendly and that woman in the kitchen makes my food to perfection. But last night I came in and sat down to enjoy my food with my two kids and this woman who was there with a group came over to our table to quiet down my kids. Kids are going to be kids but if these lady’s wanted everyone in the restaurant to be quiet they should have taken their game somewhere else!”

“We had breakfast there driving through. It was the coldest inside of a store/restaurant I have ever experienced. Normally, this doesn’t bother me one bit, but it was very odd. I’ve been in warehouses that were warmer in the winter.This was my first time having breakfast at Taco Bell. The dishes with steak were really good. However, the ones with bacon were cold it was bacon bits from a salad.The food per price ratio per quality was Below expectations. I will try to pack my breakfast Next time I have a long distance early morning trip.”

Attentive server with cross checking from other servers. They were extremely busy and it’s no wonder. American style restaurants should learn a lesson from these guys on how to run a restaurant.”

“Visiting the Waverly location had became a weekly thing for my family. (ok, maybe 2 or 3x per week 🤣) The donuts are amazing and the flavors are always rotating. The donuts are great to take to my co-workers because the variety pleases everyone. Mountain tops, strawberry cheesecake, peanut butter, smores, or anything oreo can't miss! But get there early because they go FAST! Be sure to support this local business!”
