“Barr's is a nice place but service can be hit or miss. During prime hours you may need to park at the hotel next door when they run out of spots. The food is upscale bar/pub style and made with care, just about everything on the menu is great. They have a nice happy hour selection and the cocktails are well made. Don't overlook stopping in for a quick lunch. Its a very small space and there are often events/corporate gatherings in the side room so it can get packed in a hurry. I suggest going before 5 or after the dinner rush. They take reservations but you still may end up waiting as people tend to linger at their tables so dont go expecting to fit in a specific timeline.“

“Perfect venue, fantastic staff! Shelly’s hosted a party of around 60 guests for my mom’s 70th birthday. The venue was a perfect mix of places to sit, lounge, or move around to catch up with friends. Shelly and Adrienne served great drinks all evening. Everyone commented on what a great time they had. Don’t hesitate to book Shelly’s for your next event!“

“We do go here often. We love the smoked wings and the giant pretzel. Our waitresses have usally been great, however our last visit we just stopped for drinks and they gave us a table. The waitress asked if we would go up to the bar to get our drinks so that the bartender would get the tips. We agreed to that. We had 1 drink then they switched bar tenders and went to get another drink and the bartender was visiting a table in the dining area while we stood at the bar waiting for a drink. She finally came up to the bar after quite some time and started helping the customers who were seated at the bar, so we left. It was kinda rude as we waited all that time standing where they told us to order and she proceeded to not even take our order.“
