“Today it was chilly and rainy. I got off work early and had been thinking about trying ramen here for days. I sat at the sushi counter with my book and my sweater. I ordered the Kiiro (yellow) ramen. Let me tell you, this was a nice warm hug in a bowl and everything I was hoping for. Calvin was a lovely man making sushi behind the counter. He was very amiable and easy to chat with. I work close by and will definitely be back. I cant wait to try the Kuro (black) ramen. Calvin if you see this I was reading Ravensong, part 2 of the Green Creek series. Enjoy!“

“I was in town on business and found this gem just searching around online. Right off the bat the lady on the phone was super friendly. Very accommodating on a couple or requests as well. The food itself was top notch and extremely fresh and great flavors (two rainbow rolls, one with shrimp on top instead). Highly recommend 👍🏼“

“Strongly recommend! This is your Chinese uncle. Only he can prepare you any dish from the menu for 500 sku in a small kitchen in five minutes. The food is great. Very good price! The owner does not cut portions or hide the meat in a giant dough shell. Unfortunately, I didn’t recognize the hero’s name. On your next visit, I will definitely say “THANK YOU” in person! “My family and I LOVE Maki. Their food is always fresh, and delicious. I haven't found my favorite dish YET. Too many to choose from. I love their Beef Pho, and Yakisoba. My husband enjoys ALL of their specialty sushi. Their waitresses are always kind, and attentive. My husband is always thirsty, and never has an empty cup. The main man...sushi preparer is amazing! Always delivers a beautiful dish! Out of all the restaurants we frequent in Lake County....Maki is always consistent with their food quality and service.“

“First time at Issho Ni Poke Bar, and even though I didn’t try the poke, I was seriously impressed! I had the Rainbow sushi burrito and the Karai Maguro Onigiri—both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully put together. The burrito was loaded with colorful, quality ingredients, and the spicy tuna onigiri with cucumber, eel sauce, and crispy onion was an awesome combo of heat, crunch, and richness.

My family goes to their Willoughby location all the time for sushi and ramen, so I already knew they were legit—but this spot has its own unique vibe and definitely lives up to the name. Friendly staff, quick service, and super clean inside too. I’ll definitely be back to try more!“

“My wife and I felt like trying something new, so we opted for Sumoboy. The clear soup was flavorful. The chicken katsu i ordered was crispy and saucy. My wife enjoyed her bento box but thought there was a bit too much teryaki sauce, and some of the chicken chunks were a little tough. We were the only ones in the restaurant the entire time, so hopefully it was just an off time for them.“

“Shout out to Fried Rice Hibachi 2 Go catering. We had Hibachi for a grad party this weekend and it was delicious! They were great to work with, very responsive and flexible. I would definitely use them again for catering.“

“This is the best tasting hibachi cooking it’s like going to Benihana without having to go to Benihana The sauces are delicious and portions are generous! The service is pleasant and location close to surrounding suburbs. They will and are my go to for Hibachi cooking!????“

“Went to Asian Choa first and they tried to charge me almost $20 for something I didn’t order so said forget it and stepped over to Nori. Thank goodness I did. They made my chicken right in front of me and it was exactly what I was craving. Didn’t try to charge me extra and had three people trying to help with the language barrier. Worst part of my experience was realizing I speak one language and they speak two and my slang got in the way of them understanding what I wanted. My ninth grade English teacher would be proud of my use of proper English.“
