“We live only about half an hour away, but finally ate here for the first time last night. We showed up within an hour of closing time, but they took us in with a smile and our food came out fast and hot! Highly recommended! They give you mountains of fries/tots and everything is cooked to perfection. We will absolutely be back!“

“We had lunch at the General Denver yesterday and it was absolutely wonderful! Our waitress was the sweetest young lady, who took excellent care of all our needs. We were able to take our time and enjoy all the delicious appetizers and meals over the course of a couple of hours. We never felt rushed, just very welcome. I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes, the fried green beans, the shrimp cocktail and the giant pretzel. The salads and pasta were great. The only criticism was that the steaks that were ordered were a little too done, but all in all it was a great experience. I give it 4 stars!“
