“I am going to sit a minute and RAVE about this little Cafe. It is beautiful and clean with a nice vintage vibe. Soups, salads, sandwiches on the menu all freshly made. I had the avocado toast with tomato and feta (good, but I'll try something different next time). Hubby had the ham and cheese melt because of the herbed spread which was 5/5 tasty. Kiddo had "the amazing grilled cheese" which lives up to its name. The grilled cheese won the dinner contest hands down - must try! The pumpkin soup was scrumptious, I've never had better. We had a few GENEROUS scoops of ice cream to finish up - couldn't do much better than Young's. Overall, just give this place a try. I think you'll like it.“

“This was some of the best food and drinks I have ever had. I have been a big foodie my whole life and recently became a vegetarian. Since then, I have been struggling with finding dishes I truly love, especially when eating out. Well, we went to Meadowlark for the first time tonight and they blew it out of the water! The drinks were tasty, the food was delicious and the service was amazing!! We will definitely be back again soon!!“

It's a small restaurant at the fairgrounds and the folks that go there are what most people would call country. Don't let that scare you off. These are good people that serve good food. We had 52 family members including many children under 12 and there was plenty of space to mingle and even for the kids to play together. The food and service were spot on and Gregory was very helpful and accommodating with the menu selections and a few food allergies. Everyone had a wonderful things to say about the food too, and we look forward to using this room and catering again!“

“Me and my weekly lunch bunch of 6 ladies have this place in our regular rotation. The clam chowder is perfection with tender, not chewy, clams. Paired it with Boom Boom shrimp for the tastiest lunch. Just sorry it took me so long to try this place.“

Bock excels at creating a space where we gather as family, friends, soccer teams, etc with their large open room, but also there's a game room my kids love, foosball, and shuffle board. And that's not even getting to the food and drinks. My favorite snacks include the German nachos, reuben dip, and pretzels. The drinks are always on point- fresh and delicious. we always love the lemon blueberry with with a slice of lemon and the Negligent IPA. They are staffed by some of the greatest people. A family favorite for sure.“

“This is my 90 year old mother in laws favorite, so we thought we’d give it a try! Friendly service and a great meal at The Chop House in Dayton. We started off with an appetizer of spinach queso, it was full of flavor and the chips were light with just the right amount of salt. The grouper special was incredible and paired well with the rice pilaf and broccoli. The crab cakes were perfectly cooked, (she asked them not to cook hard...remember she's 90) and they made it just right, and the baked potato was spot on. My turkey and dressing was good, though the turkey was sliced a bit thick for me but my husband loved it, the dressing was flavorful and not too salty which is a huge plus for me. The homemade Heath Bar and vanilla ice cream were outstanding. It was rich and creaming and tasted soooo good!“

The Family bundle we got was the ribs and tenders and two side and we got a salad as well.. the ribs were fall off the bone delicious and the tenders were crispy and juicy. The price was very affordable. I recommend this place for anyone. Very good.“

“My son graduated and wanted to celebrate at J. Alexander's Restaurant. We arrived at 630 PM on a Wednesday. We had a party of seven guests. We were waiting for almost an hour to find out they had tables available. We had to split our party up which we did not mind doing. I wish they could of asked us that at the beginning, to prevent the long wait.

The food was delicious. Fast and hot. We enjoyed the buttery croissants, con queso dip, and steak egg rolls for appetizers. For the entree we ordered the daily specials. Food was very flavorful and beautifully aesethic. 10 out of 10 totally recommend.“

“I always enjoy coming here for the clam chowder and carrot cake. Normally, the service and food is very good. Today was an off day since they seemed understaffed and ran out of carrot cake. (Our server did a good job but it seemed like only she and another person were dealing with customers. It was a Sunday afternoon and we had a very large party (about 17 people)).“

“I visited my local Waffle House for the first time recently. We were invited to sit at the counter, which turned out to be a mistake. The dishwasher was directly underneath our seats, so we could hear dishes clanking and the door slamming, and we could feel the vibrations while it was running. Combined with employees calling out food orders, it was pretty overstimulating—especially before I’d had my morning coffee.

That said, the food was served as expected, and our waitress was polite and attentive.

It’s also worth noting that Waffle House charges a 20% fee on to-go orders: a 10% service fee and a 10% tip for the preparers. Keep this in mind when tipping, as a standard 20% tip effectively becomes 30% due to this policy. That feels a bit excessive, especially for an order that doesn’t involve table service.“

“I've got dairy intolerance, I ordered a burger without cheese but it had some bits of cheese all over the meat. I took it up and kindly requested one without any cheese and explained my intolerance. The gentleman was absolutely wonderful and had my burger remade right away.
The atmosphere was incredible with the cleanliness and charming customer service. One of the gentleman brought my daughter a coloring page with crayons and a steak and shake paper hat.
We had a wonderful meal and a wonderful time.

“Went today with family after a long day. Food was perfect and everyone was supper friendly. BUT!!!!!! My biggest shout out goes to Noah our server! He is perfection at its finest. Fun, helpful, full of energy, engaging, knowledgeable, patient... heck my family and I could go on for days! He is just amazing. And even though this Chili's is a bit of a distance for us. “Last Friday I ordered carry out for myself, daughter, and mom (who is in a rehab center on Clyo). I went to pick it up but left my lights on and had to get a jump. I called and Bobbi was gracious enough to remake the order so the food would be fresh and hot. There was a lot going on that day and Bobbi’s kindness was a huge boost on a bat day. I appreciate her kindness so much!!“

“We love coming here for casual date nights and especially ones that are kid friendly. We love the seafood fajitas for 2 which is a great value for the amount of food you get. The service is always speedy quick and the food is delicious. Is it the most authentic Mexican in Dayton? No. Is it still delicious and consistently good? You betcha!“
