“I am going to sit a minute and RAVE about this little Cafe. It is beautiful and clean with a nice vintage vibe. Soups, salads, sandwiches on the menu all freshly made. I had the avocado toast with tomato and feta (good, but I'll try something different next time). Hubby had the ham and cheese melt because of the herbed spread which was 5/5 tasty. Kiddo had "the amazing grilled cheese" which lives up to its name. The grilled cheese won the dinner contest hands down - must try! The pumpkin soup was scrumptious, I've never had better. We had a few GENEROUS scoops of ice cream to finish up - couldn't do much better than Young's. Overall, just give this place a try. I think you'll like it.“

“This was some of the best food and drinks I have ever had. I have been a big foodie my whole life and recently became a vegetarian. Since then, I have been struggling with finding dishes I truly love, especially when eating out. Well, we went to Meadowlark for the first time tonight and they blew it out of the water! The drinks were tasty, the food was delicious and the service was amazing!! We will definitely be back again soon!!“

“If you are looking for good, scratch kitchen cooking, this is the place to go. I love the homecooked eggs and bacon, chicken fried steak, and biscuits and gravy. It's a small restaurant at the fairgrounds and the folks that go there are what most people would call country. Don't let that scare you off. These are good people that serve good food. “Thank you Gregory and Station House for a wonderful family event! We had 52 family members including many children under 12 and there was plenty of space to mingle and even for the kids to play together. The food and service were spot on and Gregory was very helpful and accommodating with the menu selections and a few food allergies. Everyone had a wonderful things to say about the food too, and we look forward to using this room and catering again!“

“My favorite family friendly place. Bock excels at creating a space where we gather as family, friends, soccer teams, etc with their large open room, but also there's a game room my kids love, foosball, and shuffle board. And that's not even getting to the food and drinks. My favorite snacks include the German nachos, reuben dip, and pretzels. The drinks are always on point- fresh and delicious. we always love the lemon blueberry with with a slice of lemon and the Negligent IPA. They are staffed by some of the greatest people. A family favorite for sure.“

“We found Ladder 41 in between games at a soccer tournament. The line to order food was long but it all came out quickly and correctly after we ordered. Plenty of room for the kids to spread out and games for them to play while we waited. Great atmosphere and we plan to visit again when we are back in the area!“

“This is my 90 year old mother in laws favorite, so we thought we’d give it a try! Friendly service and a great meal at The Chop House in Dayton. We started off with an appetizer of spinach queso, it was full of flavor and the chips were light with just the right amount of salt. The grouper special was incredible and paired well with the rice pilaf and broccoli. The crab cakes were perfectly cooked, (she asked them not to cook hard...remember she's 90) and they made it just right, and the baked potato was spot on. My turkey and dressing was good, though the turkey was sliced a bit thick for me but my husband loved it, the dressing was flavorful and not too salty which is a huge plus for me. The homemade Heath Bar and vanilla ice cream were outstanding. It was rich and creaming and tasted soooo good!“

The Family bundle we got was the ribs and tenders and two side and we got a salad as well.. the ribs were fall off the bone delicious and the tenders were crispy and juicy. The price was very affordable. I recommend this place for anyone. Very good.“

“I visited my local Waffle House for the first time recently. We were invited to sit at the counter, which turned out to be a mistake. The dishwasher was directly underneath our seats, so we could hear dishes clanking and the door slamming, and we could feel the vibrations while it was running. Combined with employees calling out food orders, it was pretty overstimulating—especially before I’d had my morning coffee.

That said, the food was served as expected, and our waitress was polite and attentive.

It’s also worth noting that Waffle House charges a 20% fee on to-go orders: a 10% service fee and a 10% tip for the preparers. Keep this in mind when tipping, as a standard 20% tip effectively becomes 30% due to this policy. That feels a bit excessive, especially for an order that doesn’t involve table service.“

“Probably my favorite restaurant in Dayton, even though it's a chain. We come here often and have rarely had anything not be perfect. Usually the service is so fast and the courses come out very quickly. Some of my favorite things are the Alex's salad, rotisserie chicken, pork tenderloin, and the filet mignon. Steaks are usually perfectly cooked. Dimly lit and cozy atmosphere, usually still not too loud.“

“I always enjoy coming here for the clam chowder and carrot cake. Normally, the service and food is very good. Today was an off day since they seemed understaffed and ran out of carrot cake. (Our server did a good job but it seemed like only she and another person were dealing with customers. It was a Sunday afternoon and we had a very large party (about 17 people)).“

The manager, I believe his name was Brian, at the Wilmington Ave location, could not have been more helpful and kind. Will definitely go back. It was clean and fresh and everyone was so nice.“

“Went today with family after a long day. Food was perfect and everyone was supper friendly. BUT!!!!!! My biggest shout out goes to Noah our server! He is perfection at its finest. Fun, helpful, full of energy, engaging, knowledgeable, patient... heck my family and I could go on for days! He is just amazing. And even though this Chili's is a bit of a distance for us.
