“I love the old fashioned decor of this place. It feels like home here. Our server, Jess, is very sweet. She made sure that the order was correct before putting it in. When she brought the food out, she made sure we were pleased with what we saw. The smokehouse burger is perfect; everything about it hit the spot just right.

1/22/2026–This place is busy for lunch. I have yet to see anyone clean off any table. I got the double stack cheeseburger. The burger and fries have hit the spot. My boyfriend got a chicken sandwich, which was not the way he had ordered it. The cook put things that were supposed to be on it which he did not want on it. Our server, Leah, is acting like she doesn’t want to be here. She hasn’t came to check on us after we got our food. I do understand that the staff is busy but that doesn’t mean she can’t ask if we were good or if our food is good.“

“Yvonne and James are great! I come here all the time and as soon as I walk in the door they greet me with a big smile they are very friendly and kind!!! “This was some of the best food and drinks I have ever had. I have been a big foodie my whole life and recently became a vegetarian. Since then, I have been struggling with finding dishes I truly love, especially when eating out. Well, we went to Meadowlark for the first time tonight and they blew it out of the water! Bock excels at creating a space where we gather as family, friends, soccer teams, etc with their large open room, but also there's a game room my kids love, foosball, and shuffle board. And that's not even getting to the food and drinks. My favorite snacks include the German nachos, reuben dip, and pretzels. The drinks are always on point- fresh and delicious. we always love the lemon blueberry with with a slice of lemon and the Negligent IPA. They are staffed by some of the greatest people. A family favorite for sure.“

“Stopped in after a Reds game to get dinner with my wife on our way back to the KOA Campground nearby. Clare had our table and was a great server! Frequent visits to the table, very cheerful, and served us a fantastic steak sandwich. Draft beer was cold and clean taste. And they have Keno. “This is my 90 year old mother in laws favorite, so we thought we’d give it a try! Friendly service and a great meal at The Chop House in Dayton. We started off with an appetizer of spinach queso, it was full of flavor and the chips were light with just the right amount of salt. The grouper special was incredible and paired well with the rice pilaf and broccoli. The crab cakes were perfectly cooked, (she asked them not to cook hard...remember she's 90) and they made it just right, and the baked potato was spot on. My turkey and dressing was good, though the turkey was sliced a bit thick for me but my husband loved it, the dressing was flavorful and not too salty which is a huge plus for me. The homemade Heath Bar and vanilla ice cream were outstanding. It was rich and creaming and tasted soooo good!“

“Our Sunday School class met at Doubledays for lunch on 2/21/24 for our monthly luncheon and to celebrate a members 93rd birthday. There were 29 of us and we were accommodated so nicely. Patrick waited on us and he did an absolute wonderful job. Our food was delivered timely and it was so great. Thank you Patrick and staff for a job well done.“
