“Visited about 2 weeks ago for the first time at this location. The food was quality, the persons were great, and the employees were very nice not only to us but to each other. The music they were playing seemed different from other locations which I found extremely refreshing, as well as the look of the restaurant. We went in the early afternoon so I cannot attest to what others are saying about being out of ingredients, but this one is in the heart of a very busy road and shopping center so they’re bound to run out of ingredients eventually. It’s not something I would fault them for, especially if they let you know ahead of ordering.“

“The four of us had a great experience at Borroco Larchmere on Thursday evening. We appreciated the spacious, uncrowded ambience and low noise level. We also found the unique dishes very tasty. This was one of our best restaurant experiences in recent years.“

“You know that scene in Ratatouille where the food critic was transported to his childhood from the food that happened to me here. The tacos tijuana with carne asada brought me back to when I was a kid sharing a botana platter with friends after church in the little hole in the wall restaurant down the street. I've never had carne asada like that since, and now I've found it. The holy grail Taco. The one Taco to rule them all. The macguffin of my life. I've found on my 40th birthday a taco that was and shall be my simple yet amazing friend. Don't get me wrong, I love Condado, Momocho, and lesser but still love for Barrio. However, they were usurped in my heart by the new number 1 authentic Mexican in my humble opinion. I love food, and for the first time in a long while, I felt that love was reciprocated. Don't miss this hidden gem. You won't regret it!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Fantastic Experience at El Granero!
I stopped by El Granero on Aurora Road near Aurora Farms, and I’m so glad I did! Everything was delicious and incredibly fresh. I ordered a pineapple margarita, and it honestly tasted like fresh pineapple — not syrupy, not artificial, just perfectly refreshing.
For my meal, I had the tilapia, and it was cooked perfectly. Light, flavorful, and just the right portion. I left feeling satisfied but not overly full, which I really appreciated. You can tell they use fresh ingredients because I didn’t feel sick, heavy, or bloated afterward — just happy!
The service was outstanding as well. Manny, my waiter, was amazing. He was attentive, kind, and made sure I had everything I needed the entire time.
If you’re anywhere near Aurora Farms, do yourself a favor and stop by El Granero. I’ll definitely be back! 🌮🍹✨“

“Shout out to Bubbakoos in New Paltz NY. I forget to hit submit on my online order so when I went in to pick up there was no order for me. When I saw my mistake they made my order right away. That was so awesome of them. I really appreciated the awesome customer service- especially when the error was all mine.“

“Sad that I hadn’t ventured here sooner. The atmosphere was calm and exciting at the same time. The guac was impressive, and the chips were perfect…and then the food came.
I was not at all expecting to have a steak this good. I can normally pick apart a steak but literally nothing on the plate was anything short of perfect. The potatoes were next level.
What an amazing meal.“

“$12 for a barbacoa bowl with avocado. Good size bowl, Good food tasted hot and fresh, no customers at 1:30pm, no decor in the first room but the second room with the bar was cool (possibly under construction?) friendly staff. Vegetarian options“

“The grocery store has authentic Latin American products that I could not find anywhere else in the area. Ordered steak plate from restaurant and it was also authentic and delicious. Real Latinx flavors. Highly recommend. El supermercado tiene productos Latinoamericanos que no pude encontrar en el area (totopos El Milagro, queso panela, paletas, pupusas, etc). Ordenamos una carne asada del restaurant y aliño estuvo delicioso.“
