“When there is a wait, it takes a while but if you’ve ever had their food, you understand why. Their items are superb and every single thing I’ve had from Ray Ray’s is top notch! They do brisket and pork correctly. Their take on Chicken is great too, especially if you like spicy.“

“My friend ordered a sirloin and I ordered a filet. When our dishes arrived it appeared that the steaks were mixed up. We didn't object we should have but didn't. I really liked the rice pilaf excellent flavor. The salad was very good, however, the good stuff (tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese etc.) were on the bottom of the bowel. Service was excellent.“

“A bit more “upscale” than we were expecting, which is great. Decor was well done and our server was very personable and attentive. Different than most bbq places. Great food and atmosphere in in nice little riverfront setting. Would love to come back during warmer weather to really experience the ambiance.“

“Girls night out. Clint, Dylan, Mike and DJ were working. We had never been there before. They were very helpful with suggestions. And the wings and pastrami/philly were delicious. All the staff took turns checking in on us to make sure the food was good, and we had everything we needed. My friend and I talked a few minutes beyond closing but they encouraged us to just take our time. Laid back atmosphere. Will be going back to try the brisket next.“

“We thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight. The service was very good even with a group of 12 eating nearby. We have a couple masubi’s and each had a dinner. I had the mix meat and my husband the short ribs. There was way too much food and I ended up bringing 1/2 mine home.We will definitely return.“

“I ate a pleasant meal recently [1-17-2024] at Lucky Hawaiian BBQ at 4330 N. High St. in the "Clintonville" neighborhood of Columbus.I had been planning to attend a meeting that evening at a nearby church so it had been great to be able to eat across the street, so close to that church, immediately before my meeting. My food choice had been Hawaiian BBQ Chicken. It had been great to be able to study the menu, in advance, "on line."Pineapple Fried Rice [that I had requested instead of the white rice that automatically comes with most meals] had been $1.50 extra but certainly had been worth the additional charge. My meal had been flat pieces of sliced meat [that I am certain had been beef rather than chicken] served with brown sauce on a bed of shredded cabbage. My meal had included a tiny little plastic container of macaroni salad [that they told me they make "in-house"] [that I later learned is a Hawaiian tradition].I had been the only "dine in" customer in the rather small dining room the entire time while I had been there; however, several people briefly entered the restaurant to pick up "to go" orders that they had ordered "on line."I greatly appreciated the several wall decorations [palm trees, beaches, life preservers, etc.] that definitely gave Lucky Hawaiian BBQ a "Hawaiian" flavor. If you are in Clintonville and are looking for some "Hawaiian" food, I recommend Lucky Hawaiian BBQ.“

“Food is on point. Zero questions or concerns. Price is worth it. Serving size is plentiful. No issues with staff. Giving it 4 stars mainly because Ive shown up several times during their normal posted business hours and they're randomly closed. I highly recommend calling to see if theyre open. Dont trust google or their website, ALWAYS call.“

“Danie was a great server. Ribs were tasty. Mopping sauce was terrific. 25th anniversary special brought us in. It was a really great meal and evening out. And, I love the fried pickles. Chips are so much better than spears. As always, we'll be back.Parking: Easy park. Easy in. The older I get the more I appreciate it.“

“City Barbeque exceeded my expectations in every way! From the moment I walked in, the inviting aroma of smoky goodness set the stage for a fantastic dining experience. The staff's friendly and attentive service made me feel right at home. The menu offered a delightful variety of barbeque options, each bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The cozy ambiance and clean surroundings added to the overall enjoyment. I left City Barbeque with a satisfied palate and a desire to return for more of their delicious offerings. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a top-notch barbeque experience!“
“An unassuming Taco truck, parked in a convenience store parking lot. Great tacos, including the recently popular Birria style beef tacos with cheese and consome dipping sauce. Depending on which tacos you choose, the three taco minimum will only set you back $9-12. But be sure to tip the staff, who are the nicest folks.“

“We go once or twice a month, but I've learned over multiple visits that the kitchen doesn't know how to properly cook a steak. EVERY TIME I or a member of our party has ordered a steak (roadkill, sirloin, fillet medallions, & regular Fillet), they were ordered medium rare to medium & brought out to us medium well to well done. This happened again tonight. We'll always come back, but NOT for the steaks. Our dinner companions love theirs well done, so theirs are never undercooked and perfect for them.“

“This has become my go to Spot on Saturdays. I have tried many barbecue spots around the country and this one is high-quality barbecue. The ribs are amazing, their beans are very good and the cornbread is fantastic. If you are in the area, give it a shot.“

“Simply amazing! One of the best BBQ places anywhere! Everything is prepared with a high level of excellence.I tried the brisket sandwich, and the sauce to brisket ratio was just perfect. The bread, extremely fresh. Also had the chance to try a chili with burnt end pieces of brisket. Wow! It was paired with a sweet jalapeño cornbread to die for.Stop by if you are in the area!“

“The best fried chicken around! Thick and super crispy breading (arguably what makes fried chicken so good), and always moist on the inside. The secret sauce is awesome, I also really enjoy the spicy galbi sauce. Their dumplings are delicious too. The french fries were mediocre, but they have sweet potato fries as an option too, which is great. If you're a more classic sauce person and don't want to try a Korean sauce, get the plain fried chicken and then add your own BBQ or ranch, cuz you don't wanna miss out on this bangin fried chicken!“

“If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I'm not really into barbecue, but my husband wanted it for lunch, so we stopped at a place near us off the highway. Holy cow! Let's just say we will definitely be making regular trips from Springfield. They have five sauces to try on the table, and I couldn't pick a favorite. They were all amazing!“

“The server was the BESTEST!! I believe his name was Jake. I'm a Foodie from the capital of good food (Buffalo NY).When I eat out in other cities I'm very opinionated and I must say Jake sold his suggestions on Appetizers and was sooo excited when we were pleased with his choice. In fact we ordered another round of appetizers because it was as good as he suggested. He gave his personal and honest opinion on our choices for the meal and the 3 of us again trusted his choices and agreed with him on our orders. Again Bam!!! Spot on with the menu choices!!! The only fault in my choice(the pit plate) was the absence of an included side (potatoes or garlic bread to breakup the pallet). I will be returning every time I visit this area and also recommend this place to all my friends and associates passing through on business or pleasure.Again Jake, U DA Man??????⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Parking: Not the easiest for visiting out of towners but, we finally figured it out.“

“The manager (Trina I believe) was absolutely WONDERFUL. I own an elderly companion care business and decided to take one of my clients there for a quick dinner. Trina greeted us with a wonderful smile. She was so sweet and patient with my elderly client. He is a retired marine and she went above and beyond for him buying his dinner. We were so touched and will definitely go back to visit her! Thank you for your patience and hospitality, Trina.“

“First time trying Korean BBQ, and it was definitely good, albeit a learning curve. We ordered the sliced brisket, shrimp, and vegetables. The shrimp were definitely messy to eat, but delicious. The brisket, however, stole the show. Especially as you cook more on the grill, you get those charred bits of goodness that incorporate a lot of flavor on the meat. For our next time, I think we will skip the appetizer and go straight for the beef combo. Also, I would not recommend changing out your grill for a clean one midway through the cooking process, because the flavor gets more delicious the more you cook. Finally, give yourself at least an hour and a half to grill everything, and call to make reservations if you want to eat on the grill on a weekend.“
