The Golden Dawn on Youngstown’s North side is a true bucket list place to visit & eat. The Dawn is a staple of Youngstown restaurants, family owned and operated since the 1960’s. My Grandfather brought me here as a child & I have continued to dine here for 50 years. The walls are adorned with the local Youngstown high school & college memorial. Best Italian food in Youngstown! The freshness and quality of the food is incredible. The wait staff are super friendly (a special shout out to Will). You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but my favorites are the Italian egg rolls, spaghetti and meatballs, and the pizza!

Stopped in to this restaurant on a whim. It was, hands down, the best restaurant service in years. Judy was an amazing waitress, she was so attentive and knowledgeable. She really cares about the restaurant. The food was amazing, we got the baked cod dinner. It was so much food we left over stuffed. The Scooner beers were also perfect. The ambiance feels like a step back in time. Its old school, but it every perfect way. Highly recommend!!
