“All five stars? Well, it must have been Saturday, I must have gotten a rack of ribs with extra sauce that were smoky good, and the bartender must have done a great job taking my order and getting me a beer.

Seriously, I was absolutely impressed by the ribs. Cooked over charcoal or wood because the smoke ring was perfect, as were the ribs. No fat (NO fat!) and just a slight char on the ends. There are a lot of great rib joints around Youngstown, and since it's harder and harder to find roast lamb on Saturdays, ribs are my safety pick. The ribs at the Royal Oaks were perfect, better after I got them home and slapped them in a casserole and baked at 250 tightly wrapped for like 40 minutes. Absolutely great flavor that will impress anyone who likes a nice rack of ribs.

“Had gone there ten days ago and liked it so much that went again today. Tried chicken, goat, spinach, Paratha’s and naans. Everything was perfect. The service is friendly and efficient. Met the owners Harry and Nick. Wonderful people who take pride in their creations. Special shout out to Roshan who took care of service. A much visit for lovers of Indian food.“

Our waitress was so kind and caring. This restaurant is a classic Youngstown bar and restaurant that opened in the 60’s and is still going strong. “I visited Irish Bob's two weeks ago for the first time. Mom and I took a two hour trip north from Coshocton County to attend the Halfway to St Patrick's Day celebration. The food and entertainment were both excellent! I regret not making it to your Pub sooner. I lived in Boardman for eight years but never went. At least now I know that there's at least one good Irish restaurant/pub in Mahoning County, for the next time I'm back in the area!“

“I've been going to Shakers for about six months or so and I couldn't give more praise to this place.

I came in for wing night one day not expecting very much -- just some basic chicken wings with likely unremarkable service.. I received the opposite. Frank waited on me -- suggested what wing flavors he liked most and made sure I received not only fast service but did so with a genuine friendly attitude. And as a big wing critic (EXTRA CRISPY - iykyk) the wings here were extraordinary.

Many trips later, I've come to know most of the staff and still receive the same great food that hooked me on my first visit. Frank, as well as Josh, Hoss and Kelsey (? spelling) always take great care of me and whoever I may bring with me too.

The bar is clean and inviting as well as the large outdoor patio -- great for just coming by yourself or with a party. The staff doesn't let patrons get crazy either and maintains an easy-going but no-nonsense atmosphere.

“Moved to Eastside of Youngstown two plus years ago. Decided to search for the best marinara sauce in an italian restaurant on the west side. Just found it at Trax! The restaurant isn't stylin' on the exterior but the food served there is DELICIOUS ! Don't know how many times I drove by there and never noticed it. Make it a point to search out it's location ,you'll be glad you did. . ( The marinara is the best I've ever had in a restarant, in fact it's all GOOD eating.)“

“I went to Mizu Sushi with a friend for a night out, and we had a really great experience!

One of the unexpected highlights was actually the ramen. Although ramen isn’t necessarily their specialty, it was absolutely delicious! The broth was incredibly flavorful, and the duck was wonderfully tender and delicious.

The sushi was equally impressive. Everything was beautifully presented, expertly prepared, and tasted fresh. We also ordered sea urchin (uni), which was excellent quality. I’ve been to other restaurants where you’re served several tiny, broken pieces, but here we received generously sized, intact pieces, which I really appreciated. It made for a much better experience.

The staff was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere made for a really enjoyable evening. Between the quality of the food, the presentation, and the service, Mizu Sushi definitely left a great impression. I’d happily return!“

“Can’t say enough about Bull & Bear. I had my wife’s surprise retirement party here on Sunday and it couldn’t have been any better. The food was amazing. Everything from the wings to the pizza. Everyone commend on how good it was and plan on returning. Ben gave us full access the party room for decorating and we had it all to ourselves through the evening ( about 65 people)with Bella and Trista as are servers. Both these girls were fantastic. Whenever anything ran low, food or beverages they were there. If anyone is looking to have a small function I highly recommend The Bull & Bear on Belmont.“

“We live in Salem and make the drive to Boardman just to go to Quench. Taco Tuesdays are the best! The only reason I gave 4 stars for service is because they need another server. The bartender is awesome but she could use some help. She’s killing herself to take care of the bar, the tables and the patio. The food is exceptional and they sure don’t skimp! Prices are incredibly reasonable. Truly a hidden gem.“
