“This place was FANTASTIC. It IS a cash only business, which I didn't know at the time, so make sure to stop by the ATM before you go. But the Sausage Sandwiches were fantastic, the French fries were "fair style" and perfectly cooked, and the service was top notch. “We have an excellent lunch. My daughter and I had the mini tenderloin sandwiches with fries. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection. My wife had roasted chicken and hers was prepared perfectly too. I also added the lobster bisque. It had small pieces of lobster and was the best bisque that I have ever had. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is very relaxing and I would not hesitate to come back here the next time we are in DC.“

“RIp’s Cafe is a hidden jem located in Struthers Ohio. It was always known for is bar & Hungarian dishes, However they have much more to offer. A nice menu of comfort foods. A complete & stocked bar, which never disappoints. 6 TV’s for all of your sports viewing. The bar staff & servers are always on point with service. The atmosphere is always relaxed and inviting. I love meeting friends there for a bite to eat or watching the game. They have parking in the front & rear of the building. Lots of seats at the bar or hi tables. “Food is BEST when Blaine or James is cooking. They are fast, & on point. (Blaine is my favorite & I'm sad he doesn't work weds anymore) Best bartenders are Leslie, Heather, & Moe. Leslie has one waiting on the bar b4 I even walk in the door! I don't have to wait for drinks & Moe delivers to the patio if I've been out there too long & she knows I'll be out. Some nights are slower than others, but that's expected anywhere. Karaoke is on Wednesdays & great fun. I've held 3 adult birthday parties there & Leslie went out of her way to make each one special! She even picked a cake up FOR me to help with preparation bc I was running around ragged! If I had to complain about something, it would be that certain liquors that I drink aren't always in stock & their one fridge doesn't keep the beer quite as cold as it should be. But the bartenders adjust & compensate by putting them on ice when they see someone is drinking a brand from that fridge. Then they're ice cold & perfect. They hold free comedy nights, & have bands play occasionally. They do holiday parties w/ free food & involve the kiddos during the day for Halloween & Christmas. I sat at the bar had a quick gin and tonic and ordered the chicken wings with a side of fries. They came out just as I was ordering my second drink. Crispy wings, with tasty sauce. I stumbled upon St. Anthony Society in Struthers, Ohio and was totally amazed at how remarkable this pizza was. It was in the basement tucked away from everything. It felt so authentic. I thought Al Capone was going to walk out and hand me the pizza. “I've been here a few times. The food is good, probably better if you're gluten tolerant, but since I'm not, there are very few good options, and those options aren't spectacular. The seating here can be extremely uncomfortable if you get put in the wrong spot. The last time we went, my husband and I sat on the same side of a booth and I've never been in a worse seat at a restaurant. It literally caved in to the center so our spines were at an angle toward each other. We're regular sized people, on the thin side if anything. The only alternative seating available was a hard metal high-top stool with no back. I don't have back problems, I'm relatively young, but I was literally aching to get out of there for how cheap and poorly built the booth seat was.On the plus side, the service is always excellent here! If you can snag a comfortable seat and don't have dietary restrictions, you'll have a great time here.“

I've been here many years ago but I went with a group of people who were frequent regulars and its possible that they were members and I was their guest. Back then, in the early 2000s, I enjoyed myself in the presence of the patrons, a bar room full of people who were obviously all good friends which created an atmosphere that felt both fun and relaxing to say the least, all of these regulars treated me with welcoming kindness and acceptance. They served food and of course I ordered pasta which was totally amazing, the kind of amazing that could only be cooked by someone's grandmother born in Italy and brought with her a well guarded family recipe. If you have the opportunity to do so, definitely come here and experience this for yourself, I can promise you that you wont regret it and you'll enjoy yourself every moment spent there.“

The owner is an old tyme bar owner who is usually there, (like the owner SHOULD be!) got a juke box that usually plays '70's soul and pop (which reflects the age group mostly there, but welcoming to the young. Just NO ATTITUDES!) And outside covered dining when the weather is warm. One of my favorite (occasional) hangs in a lazy Saturday afternoon! Oh, my two dinners and four Heinekens was $40.00.
