“Hey! Enuff wit crappy reviews! Saturday Lamb, pork ribs, or chicken dinners are the. Best. In. Youngstown. I am including places like The Palm on Steel st and The Royal Oaks on Oak st in that, you know? Best.Lamb.Ever! Posted my pics, this is a small joint, like a booth and a round bar. But the staff is great! The owner is an old tyme bar owner who is usually there, (like the owner SHOULD be!) got a juke box that usually plays '70's soul and pop (which reflects the age group mostly there, but welcoming to the young. Just NO ATTITUDES!) And outside covered dining when the weather is warm. One of my favorite (occasional) hangs in a lazy Saturday afternoon! Oh, my two dinners and four Heinekens was $40.00. May 2021.“

“Had a standard breakfast of eggs, potatoes, bacon, toast, side of sausage gravy and coffee. Food was very good especially with the price. Lots of waffles and pancakes options I want to try another time. Waitress was very friendly and engaging, and kept my coffee mug full.Parking: Standard parking lot.“

“I must have driven by Five Branches many times without noticing it, but thankfully an online search introduced me to it today, and we stopped by for lunch. I ordered the Amber attack-best burger I can recall having. My husband loved his pulled pork sammich and sweet potato fries. The decor that paid tribute to veterans and the military and was inspiring. The server was competent and the owner was attentive. Can't wait to stop by for lunch next week when I have occasion to meet a friend in North Lima. What a find!!!“

“Came here for the first time with my mother and husband today. The semi enclosed patio was so nice. The food was awesome, burgers were delicious. The service was quick and friendly. It was her first day and she did amazing.!!The prices were surprisingly low for the quality of the food. There was 3 of us and we even ordered an appetizer and our bill was only $50! An insanely great value in today’s economy.The owner of this establishment greeted us on our way in, he also stopped by our table to check in on everything and then told us goodbye when we left. It was a nice touch and made us feel very welcome.Overall it was one of the most pleasant dining experiences I’ve had in the past 5 or so years that I’ve lived in this area. and we will definitely be back again.!!“

“Pleasant, tidy dining area, bar and facilities! I also noted that it wasn't too loud for a grille which I appreciate greatly. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and found a lively atmosphere, cheerful and attentive servers. Busy place that doesn't keep you waiting for anything. Good food too! My husband likes their Philly cheese steak with onion straws and I love the strawberry salad that comes with mixed greens, grilled chicken, fresh strawberries, goat cheese, dried cherries, candied pecans and a delicious raspberry vinaigrette dressing.“

The Galley Boy is by far one of the greatest burgers I've ever had, and the milkshakes were thick to perfection. Service was also excellent, and the people serving were very polite and professional. “Went with my family to celebrate a birthday. Dinner selection was great, amazing pasta and fish choices. Stuffed Halibut and Whitefish were excellent, Veal was delicious as well. We had 6 in our party, seated quickly, service was outstanding and quick. Dinner Salads were a little disappointing... I recommend getting the soups. Generous portions and decent bar service. Prices were an excellent value for the quality of main dish. I'll be back to try the chicken Marsala, which I hear is fantastic.“

“We have an excellent lunch. My daughter and I had the mini tenderloin sandwiches with fries. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection. My wife had roasted chicken and hers was prepared perfectly too. I also added the lobster bisque. It had small pieces of lobster and was the best bisque that I have ever had. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is very relaxing and I would not hesitate to come back here the next time we are in DC.“

“The Iron Mann Grille is pretty cool. A cozy little bar with a very chill atmosphere. Bar staff is super friendly and on point when you need another beverage. The food is out of this world. The have some amazing wings & wing sauces. The bar is fully stocked with a nice selection of liquors. They also have a beautiful outside dining patio to relax on. “We stopped in here on a whim. We've heard good things but never bothered to try it... until tonight. First off, let's talk about service. Absolutely phenomenal and I can not stress that enough. Mike and his team absolutely killed it! Our waters were constantly full, our cocktails were delicious and the one on one conversation was excellent and this was on a fairly busy night. Every seat at the bar was full and atleast 3/4 of the dining room was full.DRINKS: All of our cocktails were excellent and their whiskey/bourbon selection is damn near second to none.APPS: Chicken tenders, pretzel, hot peppers, and confit wings were all exceptional.DINNERS: Chicken & Street corn salad, Blueberry chicken sandwich, Portobello melt, and Chicken stir fry were all exquisite.DESSERT: Oreo cheesecake was excellent.We will absolutely be back!“

The breakfast menu had a lot of variety.I ordered the breakfast biscuit sandwich with home fries. The home fries were okay they could have been seasoned a little bit more. “We had a very nice evening out with friends. Our waitress Angela was fantastic. She was so personable and friendly. If you’re going there for dinner ask for Angela. My husband ordered the steak and cake while I ordered the Zin Chicken which was excellent. The steak my husband ordered was so tender, however, the “jumbo” crab cake was a joke. It literally looked like a pancake. I think the chef needs to go up to the New England states or Baltimore for lessons in how a crab cake should look. The Caesar salad I ordered was a little dry also.“

“Charly's is a family friendly restaurant with a very clean and homie atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the food is consistently good. My family's favorites are the hamburgers, chicken Parmesan, macaroni salad, taco salad, fish, fried chicken, and so much more. It's always so good.“

“Went late night with my son after I got off work. Jess was my waitress! She was phenomenal. As a woman in the industry I LOVE when I go somewhere and get the same service or better than i . She took the time and made a hat for my kiddo, mickey mouse pancakes and laughed at his silly joke. Food was hot, correct and came out fast. I'll go back late night just for her. Still was able to tip 20% but I'll swing by just to give her more $. She deserves the money and recognition!“

“Don't let the uninspiring facade fool you. Pros: a good restaurant has their own signature menu items. Deep fried pepperoni is a winner, and Keto friendly I think haha. Homemade deep fried sliced pickles were also a winner. Their signature dish is Mac and cheese. It is very good, but doesn't knock your socks off. Staff was excellent. Decent burgers. Cons: the layout of the restaurant and bar is very weird, and the restaurant is very dark, with no windows, made the place look dingy, old, and dirty, but it isn't. 4% credit card trx fee also sucks, but the prices were reasonable. Summary: glad we found this place, right off of I80 NE Youngstown OH. 3.5 out of 5. Pro-Tip: try the Rhode Island Red sandwich. Fried white chicken meat, bacon, grilled peppers, bbq sauce, pepper jack cheese. Tasty!“

She paid for my entire meal, told me about her passion for helping out the elderly, and is even working to adopt a couple less fortunate children in hopes of giving them better life opportunities. “Recently attended a concert (Jim Brickman) on this smaller auditorium side. We've attended sold out concerts from this same artist on the larger orchestra side of Powers Auditorium. Definitely a different experience as it was a more intimate concert this time, especially due to the close proximity of basically all the seats on this smaller auditorium side. He said he had used this side for rehearsing during concerts he performed on the Powers Auditorium side, saying he loved performing on the larger, "orchestra " side, but wanted to return to have a concert one day on this stage that he also enjoyed for the close experience he could share with his audience.“

“I eat here all the time, it's a very surprising find in the back of a gas station/convenience store, but the food is amazing. The gyros are absolutely packed full, and the chicken over rice is one of my favorites. The prices are also very good for what you are getting.“

“The speed of the service depends on how busy they are but they're normally pretty fast. The staff is really nice and very cooperative. It's a nice quiet place with a picture wall, a tv for the games, and has more spots like a place where you can play some board games, buy snacks and a little shop. I normally go there for the wings they're kind of pricey but definitely worth it.“

“A little late on writing reviews so figured I'd start getting caught back up. This bar and grille is a local semi-dive bar with cold beer and terrific food. On this visit, my friend and I sat at the bar as it was busy due to a small work party going on as well. We enjoyed a cold beer while we perused the menu. They are known for their burgers but I was stuck on wanting to order the sausage sangwich and boy I was not disappointed. The sausage patty was absolutely delicious served topped with provolone, peppers and onions on a grilled bun and a side of fries to accompany (Sadly, I forgot to take pics). In asking one of the owner's who was behind the bar, he told me that the sausage is made locally right up the street at DePizzo's sausage. I know this place to have fantastic homemade sausage but a fire at their small facility shut them down a few years ago but they still make it in limited quantities and Shaker's is one of the beneficiaries of this deliciousness. The owner ended up chatting with us for approx. 45-minutes where he bought us a few rounds of beers on top of a few shots since Christmas was right around the corner. Great little spot and I need to get back to try their burgers. I'll update once I've done so.“

“The Landmark restaurant in Youngstown, Ohio is a staple of the Westside. It’s simply one of the best places to get a great breakfast. The portion size for the price is very good. I usually go as soon as they open, not too crowded but it gets busy. You walk in and seat yourself, I usually like to grab a table. The seating options here are table, booths or the counter. I really enjoy the atmosphere here, early morning crowd of people getting ready for work or retired guys just enjoying their coffee. My waitress came over to me quickly, she was very pleasant. She then took my drink & breakfast order. She returned with my bottom-less coffee & water, there was a cup full of creamers on the table that I used to give my coffee the correct consistency. My meal was out a short time later, perfectly prepared, hot & correct. The best part of this place is after you finish your breakfast, you can stroll over to the bakery counter and get some amazing donuts. They make an Apple Fritter & Bear Claw the size of your head!!! They are big and amazing tasty, you simply must try them. They have a whole case of delicious donuts that I know you will enjoy. If you love a proper breakfast & delicious donuts, this is the place for you.“

“This Cafe and eatery is a cool spot in downtown Youngstown by YNG ST. The pastries are awesome, fresh and delicious! There’s something there for everyone’s sweet tooth. I had the cherry turnover and baklava- wow! The best I’ve ever had without a doubt. I also had the coffee which was smooth to the last drop. The coffee station has some funny signs at it lol.
