The peach lemonade was absolutely delicious. We pulled up and they brought the menus to us. The food came out in a tray that can hang from the window or set inside your car. “As first time customers to any Twin Peaks, we had a 100/10 visit! We noticed the 29° cold beer sign and that was our cue to visit. The hostesses were kind, the food was delicious and the beer was COLD- that was the seller to return, then we met Emma, our waitress! Emma was beautifully kind inside and out. I could have given a lesser review only because of the “attitude” of the hostesses and a few other waitresses but Emma made it 100%. We will be back to visit Emma! I hope she sees this and is recognized for her over the top customer service and kindness!“

“My mom’s been after “good fried chicken” for months. When I saw the owner, all of the times friends told me about his fried chicken being amazing popped into my head. So, I got some for my mom. She said “when I say good fried chicken in the future, this is what I mean. Only this kind”. So, my friends were correct and my mom will never eat another establishment’s fried chicken for as long as she lives. Also, the jojos and the regular Stromboli were amazing! Glad I saw the owner!“

I had the fish with mushrooms (which I shared with my chauffeur for the day). Tom had a 3 meat sub and was very happy with it.

You need to try them out. But make it early they close at 2pm.“

“This is the best family owned restaurant in town. You get to know the regulars and the staff who are fantastic. We go every weekend and love everything about it. The food is great and the prices are good. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a close, family style place to dine.“

“All five stars? Well, it must have been Saturday, I must have gotten a rack of ribs with extra sauce that were smoky good, and the bartender must have done a great job taking my order and getting me a beer.

Seriously, I was absolutely impressed by the ribs. Cooked over charcoal or wood because the smoke ring was perfect, as were the ribs. No fat (NO fat!) and just a slight char on the ends. There are a lot of great rib joints around Youngstown, and since it's harder and harder to find roast lamb on Saturdays, ribs are my safety pick. The ribs at the Royal Oaks were perfect, better after I got them home and slapped them in a casserole and baked at 250 tightly wrapped for like 40 minutes. Absolutely great flavor that will impress anyone who likes a nice rack of ribs.
