“My mom’s been after “good fried chicken” for months. When I saw the owner, all of the times friends told me about his fried chicken being amazing popped into my head. So, I got some for my mom. She said “when I say good fried chicken in the future, this is what I mean. Only this kind”. So, my friends were correct and my mom will never eat another establishment’s fried chicken for as long as she lives. Also, the jojos and the regular Stromboli were amazing! Glad I saw the owner!“

“Had a large group in the back room tonight. Our server, Amanda was fantastic! Our drinks were always full, food came out fast and delicious. She offered suggestions, answered questions and even got in with us on teasing my husband. We had an amazing experience and will be back soon“

“We love the upside down cones... You have to get it upside down in a cup because even the small is HUGE! There is no way you can eat it on the cone without it melting all over everything... ❤❤❤❤ We actually started getting our dinner there as well... “Can’t say enough about Bull & Bear. I had my wife’s surprise retirement party here on Sunday and it couldn’t have been any better. The food was amazing. Everything from the wings to the pizza. Everyone commend on how good it was and plan on returning. Ben gave us full access the party room for decorating and we had it all to ourselves through the evening ( about 65 people)with Bella and Trista as are servers. Both these girls were fantastic. Whenever anything ran low, food or beverages they were there. If anyone is looking to have a small function I highly recommend The Bull & Bear on Belmont.“

I had the fish with mushrooms (which I shared with my chauffeur for the day). Tom had a 3 meat sub and was very happy with it.
You need to try them out. But make it early they close at 2pm.“

“A mainstay in the community that’s been here since I was a kid. Food, service, and everything here are always great. I remember splitting the “Italian Nightmare” with my great grandparents almost a decade ago now.

“All five stars? Well, it must have been Saturday, I must have gotten a rack of ribs with extra sauce that were smoky good, and the bartender must have done a great job taking my order and getting me a beer.
Seriously, I was absolutely impressed by the ribs. Cooked over charcoal or wood because the smoke ring was perfect, as were the ribs. No fat (NO fat!) and just a slight char on the ends. There are a lot of great rib joints around Youngstown, and since it's harder and harder to find roast lamb on Saturdays, ribs are my safety pick. The ribs at the Royal Oaks were perfect, better after I got them home and slapped them in a casserole and baked at 250 tightly wrapped for like 40 minutes. Absolutely great flavor that will impress anyone who likes a nice rack of ribs.

“I LOVE Belly Buster's. If I crave a sub, they're where I'm going, no question. I got to try their new herbs and cheese bread and it was soooo good. I can't wait for it to be a regular menu feature.“
