“Hey! Enuff wit crappy reviews! Saturday Lamb, pork ribs, or chicken dinners are the. Best. In. Youngstown. I am including places like The Palm on Steel st and The Royal Oaks on Oak st in that, you know? Best.Lamb.Ever! Posted my pics, this is a small joint, like a booth and a round bar. But the staff is great! The owner is an old tyme bar owner who is usually there, (like the owner SHOULD be!) got a juke box that usually plays '70's soul and pop (which reflects the age group mostly there, but welcoming to the young. Just NO ATTITUDES!) And outside covered dining when the weather is warm. One of my favorite (occasional) hangs in a lazy Saturday afternoon! Oh, my two dinners and four Heinekens was $40.00. “From Boston but was in Canton Ohio for work. Saw a cool looking show with mostly local bands about an hour away and decided to check this place out. Didn’t notice it was a bowling alley until I got there, and the place looked great. First grabbed a drink at the bar where all the bar tenders were friendly and seemed genuinely interested in the music scene for the area, and the prices were great (all day happy hour Thursday made them even better). Once I went downstairs to the basement for the show, the space they had looked amazing. Great setup and excellent sound. Highly recommend this place if you’re blowing through like I was.“

“Food is BEST when Blaine or James is cooking. They are fast, & on point. (Blaine is my favorite & I'm sad he doesn't work weds anymore) Best bartenders are Leslie, Heather, & Moe. Leslie has one waiting on the bar b4 I even walk in the door! I don't have to wait for drinks & Moe delivers to the patio if I've been out there too long & she knows I'll be out. Some nights are slower than others, but that's expected anywhere. Karaoke is on Wednesdays & great fun. I've held 3 adult birthday parties there & Leslie went out of her way to make each one special! She even picked a cake up FOR me to help with preparation bc I was running around ragged! If I had to complain about something, it would be that certain liquors that I drink aren't always in stock & their one fridge doesn't keep the beer quite as cold as it should be. But the bartenders adjust & compensate by putting them on ice when they see someone is drinking a brand from that fridge. Then they're ice cold & perfect. They hold free comedy nights, & have bands play occasionally. They do holiday parties w/ free food & involve the kiddos during the day for Halloween & Christmas. (sign up req) Annual membership price is very reasonable & event nights are open to the public w/out memberships.“

“Irie was awesome. For anyone who judges this place based on gimmick, SHAME. I understand there is a gimmick illustrated here, but I'll tell ya, there are many of the workers who go beyond the gimmick and can also demonstrate the inner beauty of their God-given customer service gifts to also compliment the outer as well; Irie by FAR fits that bill. Quick, friendly and efficient, I can honestly say she's one of the best waitresses my girl and I have had yet. We love the food and we absolutely love the people. It's a friendly environment and the food never misses. Ever. Give Twin Peaks a try, and ask for Irie. You WILL NOT be disappointed. The prices for the portions are phenomenal too! Twin Peaks is a vibe.Vegetarian options: They do have an impossible patty and plenty of salads you can order without meat on them.“

“Annie is an outstanding bartender that makes everyone feel welcome when she works . She's always getting people to laugh when they're having a bad day & she cares about others more than herself especially her patrons . She cooks too & The food menu is also super good & their drink menu is the biggest I've seen at any of the local bars !!“

“I grew up eating bar wings. I recently had their wings for the first time and I am absolutely obsessed! Any time I travel I always ask the locals who has the best wings. I’ve eaten them all over the country and I can easily say these are some of the best wings I’ve ever had!! If you like wings and happen in the area, do yourself a favor a grab an order. My only disclaimer is once you start you can’t stop eating them!“

“If you like beer battered fried fish this place is a MUST! Best fish dinner I’ve had in years. It was hanging over the sides of the OVAL platter plate. It is a basement bar, but, if there’s a tornado you will be safe!! Bar tender, Tiff and waitress Kim helped each other out for super fast service!!“

“The speed of the service depends on how busy they are but they're normally pretty fast. The staff is really nice and very cooperative. It's a nice quiet place with a picture wall, a tv for the games, and has more spots like a place where you can play some board games, buy snacks and a little shop. I normally go there for the wings they're kind of pricey but definitely worth it.“

“I ordered a TON of wings for a party. they were ready on time and HOT and packaged great. Service on the phone AND in-person was above and beyond fantastic. everyone at the party LOVED the wings!! they were tender, moist, perfect!!! I am SO happy we chose to order their wings! 10/10 will definitely recommend. yummm!“

“This was my first time ever at Amen Corner, my bestfriend who is my brides maid in my wedding threw me a bridal shower and Amen Corner is the place we had it. The food was amazing and the help there were the kindest gal's and the room was in the back right through the bar and dining room. I will be going back to try out some other food!“
