The last few times I have been to Dave’s, it has been a disappointment. When asking about the menu, the staff could have chosen to answer our questions and been friendly. “What is the size different between a medium and a large milkshake?” was met with a “yeah”. Dave treats all the women that work for him terribly. I say women specifically because he only seems to hire women that are recovery addicts, more specifically new to recovery, which isn’t by accident. I would be 100% for this and applaud him if it weren’t for the fact that a lot of women that are in recovery have been verbally and physically abused by men and tend to feel stuck and already have a very low self-esteem, so they are less likely to feel they aren’t deserving...read full review

Grillin' Dave-Style is a beloved BBQ stop known for its delicious Reubens and inviting atmosphere. The pulled pork is extremely tender, whether served in a sandwich or baked potato. Portions are generous for a great price, and everything on the menu is tasty. Despite being busy, the food remains excellent. The Pulled Pork and Coleslaw sandwich can be a bit messy since the coleslaw is placed on top, making the bottom bun soggy. This place is a gem worth visiting just north of I-70. The pulled chicken and brisket are also fantastic. Kickin' beans, mac & cheese, and parmesan potatoes are great sides. The brisket egg and cheese sandwich with hot BBQ and American cheese on buttery toast is a favorite. Ice cream and milkshakes are amazing here, with the peanut butter milkshake being particularly praised. Grillin' Dave also offers catering services, delivering quality food on time and earning compliments for outstanding meals at events.
