It would have been a 5 out of 5 but we split a meal bc we weren't super hungry and when we went to checkout the manager or owner thought we were trying to skip out on a meal. He was straight up rude to us. The waiter was excellent, the food was excellent. Management was rude. Don't know if I will be back or not
I recently visited Tlaquepaque Mexican Food in Zanesville. To start, I ordered the queso fundido with chorizo, but it was disappointing. The cheese was very runny and reminded me more of melted American cheese than traditional queso fundido.
For my main course, I had the carne asada with grilled jalapeños (chiles toreados), and that was much better. The steak was flavorful, cooked well, and the peppers were a great addition. While the appetizer missed the mark...

Great space with tables for large groups. Service with a smile and good refills. Food wasn't quite as flavorful as some other spots in other towns but for Zanesville's limited spot it was great. The broccoli in the fajitas was surprisingly good. Salsa isn't too spicy. Great patio area though we didn't eat on that area.
