Thai and Pho 66

Yikes...disappointed,had high hopes. Pho bland and mushy with more of a ramen type noodle . The fried rice was good. Service good. Shrimp tempura was just friend shrimp in heavy batter. Burnt egg roll. Not too fresh looking veggies. At least the music was good.

First visit impression about 60/40. We came on a Saturday for dinner around 6 and this place was totally empty. I think it's still relatively new to the area (a converted corner store/gas station), so not many people know it's there or open. The guy working was very nice and attentive. Unassuming but tasty. Inside is clean and spacious. Outside pumpkins grow nearby the outdoor seating. Overall a neutral to pleasant ambiance. Prices and portions are reasonable. Pad kee mao - good flavor composition. Lots of noodles. Not too many toppings. Tasted homemade. Gave comfort food vibes. More peppers and onions would have been awesome.
