We come to Broken Bow every year. This place is on our list for breakfast every morning of our stay. You will NOT get a better biscuit anywhere else in the state of OK. It is a mom and pop place, one waitress, seat yourself. If you need coddling and conversation from the waitress, go elsewhere. If you want a good hot breakfast, come hungry! We will always be back. We visited the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon a couple weeks ago. Our grandson is Autistic and diabetic. His glucose numbers had dropped unexpectedly. We had a party of 11. Our waitress was an awesome young lady. We explained the situation and she quickly got an order out just for him. Great service, a kind and non judgemental waitress, and the food was great. We live in Idabel and our family is stationed at Fort Hood in Texas. THANK YOU!
The chicken fried steak served here is the thickest, most flavorful, most tender steak I have ever eaten. Freshly hand battered and fried just right. The gravy complimented the steak and mashed potatoes. The server was very friendly and service was great. The menu has many great choices to choose from so a repeat visit will be necessary as this was our first experience at Beavers Bend Restaurant.
