My husband and I came down from Texas, and we had expected to eat at another restaurant but found out they were closed Mondays. We decided to stop by Hochatown Saloon! My husband had the chicken fried steak...and said it was the 2nd best hes ever had. He had the Oklahoma sweet tea which didn't even compare to a Texas sweet tea...but the Pistol Peach was phenomenal! This is our 2nd year of performing at the Beavers Bend Folk and Craft Festival and thought we would try eating someplace new this year. I had probably the best chicken fried steak I've ever had. Not to much breading, no gristle, awesome taste with excellent sides. We will be back next year.

Flavor: BService: ATea: ASolo dining: AOur server was great but the food is not quite noteworthy. The chicken fried steak (recommended by our server) had good flavor but the batter didn’t stick to the steak. The pretzels were too salty. The ranch dressing needs more flavor. There are limited options in the area and I’d guess that this is among the better of them. I would return and try something else next time.
