“If you need a watering hole, that’s not rundown. It’s not too fancy middle of the road blue collar. This is the place. The man does it get crazy later. It gets lots of dancing bands on the weekend. People seem to be friendly enough. Just gotta pay attention what’s going on around you And the pool is free every night. How about that? “I’d like to overall rate a 4.5 but that’s not an option.
AC was barely working so it started off rough, I seated myself and after a few minutes got my chips n salsa.
Salsa was hearty, not too hot but good flavor. Chips were middle of the road, not great but not bad.. I say combined a 7 out of 1-10 rating.
The food was served pretty quickly, ordered my regular 2 🐓 1 🐄 tacos and double rice. I asked for fresh onion and got grilled 😕 waiter immediately went and got me fresh onion tho, possibly his mistake.
The rice was very good, I’ve had better but I’d rate it 8.5 out of 10 for sure.
The 2 chicken tacos were delicious, the beef was kinda bland.. BUT it could possibly be my taste buds were just non existent at that point from the absolute 🔥 sauce they supplied with tacos.. I asked him which sauce was hot and he said this one (red) and I was all in on the fact I’d been rocking a bit of a sinus headache all morning.. I hate to say I met my match.. I love hot sauce, I eat raw peppers and enjoy it.. but this sauce had some HOT habaneros in it and was killer!! I would have been more conservative had I know when applying 😅.
I’d def eat here again, really great overall experience and food.“
