Super friendly wait staff. The food was awesome. Extra crunchy fries and okra... just like we like them! The beans were delicious and I heard the coleslaw was yummy too from the rest of the table. We all got the sampler dinner and liked everything. The chicken might be my favorite. I'll finish my dinner tomorrow... we all took home about half of it!
It's definitely out of the way, but it's a unique place. Barbecue served in a rustic, no frills early 20th century way. You've got to experience it if you're a barbecue fan.
Bowlin's Bbq is a experience for anyone who loves barbecue tender ribs great sliced brisket and the sauce is really good. For first time visitors go before it's dark it's a beautiful drive plus it's in the middle of nowhere. Only open Friday & Saturday.
