“My family moved to Chelsea a few years ago, and we had Googled places to eat when we came to visit. The food looked fantastic online, so we had to give it a try. Let's just say it didn't disappoint. The pork ribs were on point, no need for sauce. Meat fell right off the bone. We tried the mac n cheese topped with brisket. The Mac was cooked perfectly, and the brisket had great flavor. Let's just say we are on our way back Thursday before we go back. What a great find tucked away in a small community.”
“My friend and I had cheeseburgers. The meat was thick and the burger was good. The onion rings were good. The fries are homestyle. Coffee is a bottomless cup. Service was excellent. It has a small town atmosphere, a little noisy at lunch hour, but it's a small building. The building has the old main street charm.Menu items are the going rates.Kid-friendliness: Family placeParking: Parking on Main Street and the side street.Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure about the front door. The restrooms most likely grandfather in, because they are not large enough to accommodate ADA requirements.”
“It was a dingy hole in the wall bar 20 years ago, with a pool table. They had fish fry’s once in a while. Comfortable atmosphere with cold beer. Different owners now.”
“It's definitely out of the way, but it's a unique place. Barbecue served in a rustic, no frills early 20th century way. You've got to experience it if you're a barbecue fan.”
“Good pizza, tasty cheese sticks, yummy buttery cinnamon sticks, extensive cool salad bar, garlic, sweet marinara and the best ranch dip available anywhere!! Wide range of drink options as well, store is consistently clean, clean bathrooms, wonderful service and fast, nice music, definitely will go back again, recommended!”
“The food was phenomenal! Wonderful atmosphere and impeccable cleanliness. our server was Ms. Terry. Everyone was so personable and friendly. This was our first dining experience here. We WILL be back on a regular basis!!! Thank you so much for everything. We would give Prairie Rose Grille more than 5 stars if we could!!!”
“Love the sesame chicken! ❤? Really like that it is light with the perfect crisp and sauce as it should be, and not overly breaded and thick. I'm a foodie so I can honestly say this little food truck's sesame chicken is definitely a thumbs up! ? Can't wait to try the orange chicken! ?”
“Small local cafe, had 3-way chili and spaghetti. It was pretty good. The young man taking orders was polite, but it seemed to be his first day. We weren't in a hurry, so it didn't bother us too much. Other customers coming in after us were a little frustrated I think at the long wait to order.”
“A great meal at Lindo Veracruz this afternoon. Crisp, warm fresh chips, flavorful red salsa and salas picante start the meal. My wife went with Dos Enchiladas (chicken). She asked about the sauces to find out if the restaurant's red sauce was tomato sauce based or red chili. The owner, waiting on us today, said it was tomato based, so she made her choice the tasty Verde sauce. Both enchiladas were stuffed full with shredded chicken. Excellent beans and rice on the side filled the plate. I had the Dragon Platter, one of the meals on the Special Dinner list. Strange name for a Mexican food meal. A name you would expect in a Chinese restaurant. This was a delicious mix of steak, chicken and shrimp, grilled with pico de gallo, spinach and covered in queso. I needed to try something different. Sometimes that doesn't end well for me. Not today, this was a very good plate of food. The plate was clean when I finished. This meal is recommended. The restaurant's name seemed familiar to me. Could it be the same Lindo Veracruz as the one in Pawnee, OK. I asked the owner and sure enough it was. He owns both and also another restaurant in Owasso that operates under the name Mr. Pancho. Very nice fellow to talk with. He provided excellent service along with delicious food. The restaurant reminds me of an old Wendy's because of the curved glass that covers the dining area out front. Booths and tables, simple decorations, just a few Mexican pictures on the wall. Full bar and the Christmas tree is up. There are a couple of big screen TVs. I didn't catch what was on. I was too busy with the chips and salsa. This is a great small town Mexican restaurant. If you are traveling the "Mother Road" give it a try.”
