My wife and I were passing through Cherokee, OK and Cavali had good reviews so we decided to try it instead of fast food. I had a spicy BBQ burger and she had a grilled chicken quesadilla. They were both delicious! The people there were super friendly. We were taking it to go and they made sure we had everything we needed before we left. If we lived here we would eat here all the time.
This was a 'Wow' small town America burger experience. Had high expectations after being told to go out of the way to find Cavali in Cherokee for their great burgers.We did just that and it was a very good decision. Our burgers were flavourful, loaded with fresh toppings and tasted just great, the way I remember burgers always tasting 30-40 years ago. What a wonderful place. Clean, super friendly, and excellent food. The owner said he keeps a small menu (which wasn't that small) to keep the quality high. Good ingredients - including meat - are well cooked only after you order. Had a patty melt on dark rye that was so big I could only eat half of it. My husband got coached to eat his excellent tostado on a HOUSE MADE tortilla without a fork and knife. Even the french fries were cut from real potatoes.
