“The food was great, but it was very cold inside. If you are the slightest bit cold natured be sure to bring a jacket because you will need it. The music was too loud to carry on any conversations while we were seated, but overall it was a nice dinner.“

“My family And I have been getting the Ultimate Feast every time with the chopped brisket and their green beans and the smokehouse beans are to die for so you get a rack of ribs 2 pounds of chopped brisket and 2 Quarts of the side of your choice but I named the two that we the best and 6 pieces of delicious bread. A little expensive but the food is well worth the price.“

“The vortex has something that most restaurants these days don't have, heart. they go above and beyond to take care of you and you get generous portions. the food is not greasy like most BBQ places. if you haven't tried the morning vortex yet, go treat yourself to a nice breakfast. both sides of the restaurant have a strong family vibe. for the longest time, my family and I would drive clear to Shawnee for good BBQ since all of the chain places had the same uninspiring menu and didn't even want input on how to improve. now we only have to go 2 miles for some of the best BBQ I've ever had. the staff is always friendly and they even ask for suggestions. The Vortex is the kind of restaurant that if you walk away hungry, it's because you came when they were closed.“

“Ordered a slab of ribs okra and rolls. On 9/11/25 and was not happy. The ribs were tough and the rolls were a bit dry. Okra was cooked perfectly. Never had tough ribs from there before. Somebody dropped the ball.“

“Our Midwest City RibCrib is the greatest! It's OUr favorite game day place. The take out orders are fast and fabulous here. I edited my original review after reading several reviews. Some of these reviews are so completely bogus. We've placed dozens of orders at this location, and NEVER had a bad experience. The food and service here are the absolute finest, so head for the Midwest City RibCrib!“

“Dickey's BBQ Pit is Awesome. When my boss asked me to find BBQ for 60 of his club members I was concerned. I was so grateful that I found Dickey's BBQ Pit. Sarah was so great to work with she was able to stay in the budget and gave the men a great meal. Even when I had to call back and ask for plates and silverware, she didn't hesitate, and said yes not a problem. All the men enjoyed the meal, and there was plenty of food no one went home hungry. I want to thank them so much for over and above customer service and the great meal everyone enjoyed.“

“I went here as a birthday surprise from my kids and ordered my food to go — it was absolutely amazing! Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff was kind, and the whole place had such a warm, family-oriented vibe. Since it was my birthday, I also got to choose a dessert, which was the perfect sweet touch.

“Van's Pig Stand in Moore, Oklahoma is the best! We order regularly for companywide events and employee appreciation days! Today, however, we ordered food for our Thanksgiving luncheon. “This is the best bar q ribs I've had in a Very long time.. I had ribs and Mac n cheese w/ a sweet corn miffin and hubs had ribs and baked beans. EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Ribs were tender and full of flavor, the macnchs was creamy with whole noodles, not at all mushy; best m&c I've had in the area so far. My bottled beer from the bar was nicely chilled as well and looked like the club was poopin'. Several staff asked how it was and were very proud of their product, rightfully so. I Will be back Soon!!!“
